All these people bitching about Optifine taking too long to be updated... I wonder what they're like in real life. Do you guys yell and throw stuff at your waiter 10 minutes after placing your order at a restaurant? What a shitty attitude to take with the guy who's spending his own time to improve Minecraft for you. No one is forcing you to post here. If you have nothing useful to add (hint: 99% chance you don't) then don't click the reply button. Unless it's your goal in life to let everyone be aware of how terrible of a person you are. Then, by all means.
Take your time with the update, don't want any nasty bugs. 80% done in 3 days is a great speed already.
Still, can't wait for the opportunity to load up 1.3 with a 64 pack and get to doing what Minecrafters do best.
Hey guys if I had this spec's what optifine version should i use:
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
T6528
Processor: AMD Athlon ™ 64 Processor 3500+, MMX, 3DNow,~2.2GHz
384 Ram
DirectX9
Right now in 1.3.1 i get about 50-100 FPS Though!
I'm not quite the expert but i think you could use any of the optifine's
I would recommend the AA optifine though most options work's supper good if you know how to use it.

Yes take the time
But the biggest issue in minecraft modding is getting Optifine, extra biomes and water shader to all work at once
This would be a dream come true
I have a feeling that most of the people complaining he isn't finished yet are either 12 years old or have never developed software before. If I were him getting all these complaints for free work, I'd just go even slower :-P
If the thread gets locked he can still edit the first post to include the update so do say that, locking it is a good idea.
You can't edit threads as the thread opener if a thread is locked. At least that's how vBulletin and phpBB work. I'd expect IPB to do the same for obvious security and moral reasons.
The OP can just post the update on twitter or the blog.

Everyone needs Optifine no matter what!
I believe people are to pushy but there is no reason yet to lock the forum... yet.

There is 3 AA So which one? o.o?
I forgot to mention my graphics card it is
NVIDIA GeForce 6100
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2450M CPU @ 2.50GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.5GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
DirectX11
Intel (R) HD Graphics Family chip
That first 80% was the easy stuff...now the hard, line by line manual stuff. The last 10 percent always takes twice as long as the other 90%.
You know it takes time and effort to update it? Read the first post.
