There is a problem with Optifine in the technic mod pack version 7.2.6 (Which is 1.2.5 mods) where, if I press escape to save before going into The End, if I go into the end, press I (my inventory button) to free the cursor and X out the page, then come back, EVERYTHING I carried on me including my XP will be gone when I log back in and I will be back at spawnpoint even if I didn't die before 'X'ing out the page. I tested this several times, and every time it was the same result.
I think Technic/Tekkit already have optifine, you shouldn't install them again.
If that's not what you did, nevermind.

I'm just a Minecraft player that likes to give my opinion. Nothing special to see here.
Eeesh...this thread gets unlocked and quickly gets back on the road to being locked back up.
For all those asking which optifine to use, my suggestion is to try them all and mess with the settings and see which one ends up working best for you. Standard ended up being the best for my system when I thought for sure multi-core would.

Don't think it's because of the questions but because of people spamming it with 'UPDATE ALREADY SHEESH'
It has been ONLY three days. Have respect.. Optifine will be a bad mod if updated quickly. There was probably the biggest update ever.. Just wait! Please! I need it to, but Don't scream UPDATE at him. :C
Well technically, wasn't 1.3.1 out on Sunday or Monday? Although MCP needed to update from then, and by the time all that was done the full public launch was upon them. I don't know.
Hey guys if I had this spec's what optifine version should i use:
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
T6528
Processor: AMD Athlon (tm) 64 Processor 3500+, MMX, 3DNow,~2.2GHz
384 Ram
DirectX9
Right now in 1.3.1 i get about 50-100 FPS Though!

If I posted uneeded/incorrect information, tell me. Otherwise, tell me which Optifine I should use.
Try the C7 Ultra. If you have a big fps hit with the higher settings you can turn them down. Lot's of flexibility.

Anyway, sp614x is working hard I'm sure.

I would recommend Multi-Core, if it doesn't have the same or better FPS than Smooth, just use Smooth version.
Thank you!
