I don't know if this has been posted before but this mod is not compatible with Lahwran's ZanMiniMap. Just a heads up for those who are getting crashes and are looking for the mods involved.
EDIT: Well at least the Optimine + OptiFog bundle. Haven't tried Optifog by itself.

I got the bundle and zombe's mods working :ohmy.gif: Maybe that's cuz I only use the fly mod xD
I don't have META-INF and I have a black screen. I have an ATI graphics card if that's the problem (I heard it had problems with GLSL shaders too.)
Yeah not really good to use on an ATI card, what kind of ATI card do you have? Also what kind of processor do you have? Hell what's your comps specs? I might be able to help you.
Java has allocated 164MB and really uses 66% of them (108MB). All setting on max, except SmoothLightning (makes no difference). Running fullscreen also does not make a difference. Java is 32bit.
This is only with OptiFog + Optimine installed. With more mods Minecraft might need more memory.
I tried 512 since my texturepack is 32p, and it does work fine.
Although, I get this now
My minecraft is legit, if there's a way to check using my username, try it- txtsd.
Also, no one else has my password, so it can't be that someone else is logged in on my account.
Having a HD Texture pack defeats the purpose of this mod.
Before you try to accuse other of trying to make yourself look stupid perhaps you should look at the true cause of your stupidity.
In what ways does having a HD texture pack defeat the purpose of this mod may I ask you? :huh.gif:
With a vanilla minecraft i get 40-60 fps on fancy - far with the default texture pack.
When i add HD textures I experience near no FPS loss so why not make the game look better?
But when i install this mod my FPS increases to 160 average 'WITH' HD textures, but i cant use mip-mapping or change the fog type/start point.
The mip-mapping on level 2/3 makes the game look stunning, but since the jf.class files are clashing i can't use it.
I honestly don't see how trying make the game look and run better defeats the purpose of this mod and HD textures. :dry.gif:
The developer should compile this using Java 5 instead of Java 6 for all the PowerPC Mac OSX users out there, including myself, who are probably getting black screened now. Been using Optimine since like 1.2 and this it the first time I've had it fail to work. (1.6.6) It was just working fine a few hours ago when I was running 1.5_01. One of the main reasons this exists after all is to help out those of us with older machines.
I've tried every combination of 1.6.6 Optimine and Optifog and the combo pack with the META_INF, without it, and with the two Mojang files removed. I've also done all of that again with a brand new .Minecraft folder and the result is always the same. Black screened.

Y'know, I really would like to, but apparently you don't know how Apple and Java work together. OSX runs special versions of Java and 1.5 was the last supported version of Java for PowerPC machines. There's nothing I can do about it, but thanks for the input.

Oh, yeah I've already looked at SoyLatte. It's complicated unix binary stuff that I don't understand and it's poorly documented for people unfamiliar. *shrugs*

All you need to do is run one make command, and it's on that page. What can possibly be harder than copy-pasta?
I Noticed something, Even with optimine and optifog installed, NO MATTER what it lags when i'm recording, When i play though, it only lags a bit, but still more than it was in 1.5

"Wait... is this a hole? It looks like a hole...When did this hole get here?" The greatest thing I've muttered while playing minecraft.
Javaw.exe? And high or realtime?
Could you please make this Mod Loader compatible?
I realize it works if opti fog/optimine are installed after Mod Loader but doesn't this crush some bit of Mod Loader's functionality?
EDIT: Well at least the Optimine + OptiFog bundle. Haven't tried Optifog by itself.

Or you could just install java 1.6. There's also a java 1.7 beta on there if you wish to try that out.
