I really like your premium wood mod. Its really good and is a nice addition to minecraft in my opinion. I was just wondering, you know nanodalts more trees mod, and how it has a sequoia. Well, I was wondering if you could add something similar to your mod... It would be cool to live in.
I love nethercraft. But I am very unhappy that I have to collect a new type of feathers for nether arrows. could you maybe make an arrow from netherrack that uses white feathers? I only say this because I have several stacks of feathers but flint is much too time-consuming to gather. even if these hybrid arrows were SUPER weak because both resources aren't hard to get so you could spam them like a freak.
Also I have an idea for the mod: bribing tribals. They are soo nice to find out in the wild it would be cool if for a substantial payment (maybe one pyrite sword and a full set of imp armor for a melee one and the armor and a full stack of neridium arrows for the archers) you could hire them to protect you. You could lead them around by holding something and when you put it away they would return to wandering but would no longer despawn until killed. This would be great because you could pen them in around your house as a protection system from enemies. The cost may be high for archers but it would be balance because they can shoot at passing ghasts and at enemies around your house. What do you think?
I can't seem to get nethercraft to work. I am only using mods on the compatible list (zoom mod, shelfs, wood, & scottools). Every time I go on minecraft and load up any world ith NetherCraft installed, right after it finishes loading the world, it automatically brings me to the world saving screen, freezes, then it just goes black. What wrong?
I just got 8.0 less than a week ago and you're saying there's already a 12.0 of premium wood? Wow. I think I might just get it, since I'm changing my setup anyways (and getting rid of the Optifog part of my Opti-combo). I'm getting lag I never had with just Optimine. Either that or other mods are, but I'll try it without Optifog again. Anyhow, back to this mod, hopefully it works as well with my other mods as the earlier versions. I know Nummy Noms adds a bunch of things as well. That's probably why I can't find an ores mod that works with my current setup.

"I don't plan to add a new dimension at the moment. It's just to performance heavy on servers, and the current dimensions need more attention before we start adding new ones." < Yeah, like biomes or actual varied terrain in the nether. Nether ruins didn't do the trick at all.
i cant get any of your mods to work i have the single player caommands, dynamic light and more creeps when i get the mod installed i make sure that i have META INF deleted then i statr mine craft and it doesnt even give me the option to choose a world it just goes black please help me!!!!!!!! i know that these are compatable because pbat has nether craft more creeps premium single player comands and recently deleted dynamic light. thx
My Minecraft crashes when I try and run NetherCraft with Premium Wood, Millenaire, More Creeps and Weirdos, Mod Loader, Audio Mod, Achievement Pages, GUI API, Tool Ulits, and scott tools. It comes up with an error report saying it ran out of sprites and the only mod that comes up in the error report is millenaire. I removed NetherCraft and it worked just fine so I know all the other mods are working properly.

Wait so scotTools and toolutils work together I've been wondering about that for a while

Sorry bout that just missed it when i went looking... On the other hand i'm trying to push modders to use ScotTools in their mods :happy.gif:.
Yay! I've been trying to get Nandonalt to use ScotTools also, but he seems stubborn. Thanks for the support! I don't know why others even use ToolUtils anymore, since ScotTools have more functions and doesn't cause incompatibility. It's just much more well known than my mods ATM.

Eh, not too fond of random huge trees like that in minecraft. It could serve as an almost infinite source of wood if I'm correct in that there are saplings to grow more of them. Sorry.
So, why did you get rid of all the doors and such?
Doors and stuff are still in there, so I'm not sure what you mean. I am considering making a version that does not add doors and stairs and torches, so there will be a version that only uses about 10 block IDs at max.

Sounds fairly difficult to code, since I'm not extremely familiar with mob coding yet. It would be cool to have things like guards, though it would be easier to code an item like a staff made of a W-Obsidian ingot at the top and two ghast rods below, or something more expensive that could be right-clicked to spawn a "guard", and when it breaks, you will be given an uncharged staff so you can continue to use it to order the mobs to do something.
And about the arrows: the red feathers are part of what make the arrows fly so fast and far. It would be fairly pointless to create another 4 item IDs just to make arrows that were weaker and were made using normal feathers. And going to the Nether is supposed to be almost like starting over in a new world. =P

Not really sure. It could be a block ID conflict with the shelf mod.
Sure thing. I was scrolling through looking to see if you'd replied, and I saw them, and I knew the, so I figured, what the hey.

Awesome. I'll see about getting you some leaf textures tomorrow, since I just got the go-ahead.

Lol. Looks good though, doesn't it? It's something new IMO. And it's a real tree too.
