I have all the mods you listed and also a Sadhu very near both a burning village and a reficule and he's survived.LOL. I did have to log out and back in every time I visited him because he was gone every time I went back to him and that respawned him. Is his tree still there?
Yeah, tree is still there. I keep forgetting about the logout, login thing. Might try that later. Thank you for that help (and let's hope it works)
hi! I have a problem: I have installed the mod using the installer, the game starts up normally, but when I start a new world it says: "there was an error when trying to load millenaire 1.9.1, check if the millenaire folder is in the minecraft directory" (which it is).
I am currently running:
Modloader
MCforge
ModloaderMP
audiomod
turbomodelthingey
IDresolver
planes mod
zeppelin mod
Tale of kingdoms (v 1.2.0)
better than wolves
industrialcraft
buildcraft
powerconverters
redpower
dynamo
weaponmod
minefactory reloaded
I don't know what to do, can anyone please help me?
Check your mods folder to see how many Millenaire files you have in there, someone before commented on a possible typo with that and that may be all this is.
Well here's one I noticed. if you type in the konami code like this "upupdowndownleftrightleftrightbastart" as your world seed code while having millinaire loaded you'll always start right next to a norman fort village in the midst of a forest.
Is this a normal limitation? Is it possible to extend the size of the player controller building area in the config files?
That's odd. Can you check the max distance by seeing how far the building list will popup and comparing it with the distance given in the V list?

Basically, the Sadhu, whom I need to continue the Creation quest, disappeared. The basic circumstances are this: I have installed Tale of Kingdoms, Millenaire, TMI and ModLoader. I found the wiseman before I built my Kingdom, and then, once I finished that (ADD kicked in), I could nto find him again. There is a burning town near his home, but there is a six-block drop from the village to his grove. Also, it was lit enough around it to make sure no mobs spawned. Nevertheless, he has dissappeared, and after chopping down an entire forest (with the ToK worker, or course), I still cannot find him.
So, does he move alot? Or did ToK delete him because of the proximity?
Re log (log in log off) and he will be there, works when your villages are glitched up also
Limited yes, but apparently the limit is stricter than intended.

The buildings are the same, but one is built by me and the other is imported with the magic wand.
The arrows represent the North (in other words, the place when the sun is raising)
First case: The trapdoor is wrong placed.
Second case: The bed is wrong placed and eliminates the bookcase. In other observation, all beds are placed in the same direction of the image. When I place a bed, everytime the export tool puts in this direction.
Third case: The chests are facing to wall. But in the second level are right placed (I have 2 floors of chests, and they are identical)
Fourth case: Similar like first case, but in this disapear two trapdoors and the third is wrong placed.
Is possible to repair this or is very hard?
These are known bugs, and common ones.

Hullo, my name is Firespread. Sir Firespread, if you please. I'm naturally American and English is my native language, but I'm about 40% Russian, 20% French/German/Spanish/English, 10%Irish, 10% Israeli, 10% From every other developed country on earth, and 10% American.
So I guess you could say I'm Russian, even though I know none of the language. I do know some French, however. Anyway, I'm Sir Firespread, And I'm here to help. And rant.

I thought that was b a b a start, not just b a start?
Is it normal that most trees near and inside the village, even outside of building and planned building areas are mostly leafless trunks? I got a ton of trees like that, all inside the village area or close to it and even the ones in currently unused areas are mostly leafless, almost as if the villagers keep cutting all leaves away while I'm not looking.
Yes normal, they just walk straight through leaves leaving the trunk.
I'm not sure if anyone has asked this yet, mostly because there's over 1000 pages. But I have a Mac and I installed everything with the Millenaire Installer and when I log into Minecraft shows the "Updating Minecraft" screen with the bar 95% full and says "Done loading". And its stuck on that screen. Can someone please hekp me? The mod looks amazing and on an unrelated not I think a Chineese/Japaneese Culture should be the next added.
I can't believe I left out Optifine and I think Modloader MP (Mo Creatures). I also realized I left out Audiomod, which is also kind of needed for Mo' Creatures. Yeah, I got a bunch of Risugami's mods. In fact, I think most of my mods were made by them.
Edit: I just realized something. I have ID Resolver and it's prerequisite mod as well.
"I don't plan to add a new dimension at the moment. It's just to performance heavy on servers, and the current dimensions need more attention before we start adding new ones." < Yeah, like biomes or actual varied terrain in the nether. Nether ruins didn't do the trick at all.
That's odd. Can you check the max distance by seeing how far the building list will popup and comparing it with the distance given in the V list?
It shows as exactly 55 meters.
So i guess I am confused. When a village is building itself it seems to be able to build beyond that 55 limit filling in the map area displayed by the village map. The map displays an area that extends out, in my case, to around 80 meters.
and I know that several of the build plans allow for builds out 100 meters.
Would it be possible for the build area of the wand to be set to match the build are that the village normally has?
Or could the area buildable be set as a separate variable, rather then tied to the village radius? Because I know if I extend the village area setting to 80 in the config file it may allow me to build further in the controlled village, but it will allow the non controlled villages to go out to like around 160 which has caused performance issues in the past.
I'm not complaining about any of this. Just trying to learn how best to maximize this incredible new feature.

Did you delete your Meta file? I'm not sure if forgetting to do that causes that issue on a Mac, on a Windows computer it just makes the screen black
I thought the Millénaire villagers were supposed to respawn, but I started my own village and the guy fell off the tower when building, repeatedly, and died. I can't find him anymore :sad.gif:
I just checked the population list. He's not there, meaning the only male left in the village at all is the lumber, who refuses to leave his own house.
So, that's why there's Japanese stuff in folder. I just happened to browse the mods > Millenaire thing once and saw "Japanese," so I got curious and looked inside of it. I'm taking it we'll see them or another new culture post Minecon/ 1.0 update, considering it should be soon.
I'm having in in-game problem with the villages. It seems like if 2 villages spawn to close, a message appears in the chat pane saying something along the lines of "error saving building, check millenaire.log" and it will NOT go away. And once that message shows up I can no longer check the village parchment thanks to the wondrous Saving Chunks error.
That and I want my villages to be a good bit bigger than they are! If there's a way to do this please respond?
In my studies of Japanese History... The Katana wasn't around during the 11th century but in the 14th century.
Swords that were used are straight swords called chokutō and jōkotō.
A curve sword called the Tachi was used during back then.
Spears like Naginata were the weapon most samurai carried back then.

From my search; it was a no... A link would be nice.

If it won't work install single player commands and you might be able to respawn him.Good luck.:smile.gif:
Woo!
They do not, suggestions go here.
