2: Yep I´ve controlled ALL chests in NEWLY CREATED village and nothing else then nothing
EDIT: Also i have problem with the "Sick child" mission, when I click right on her i say her child´s sick blah blah, and after text it only says i don´t have goods for this task or something like that, waht i am supposed to do? I tried adding every kind of food to my inventory nothing helped
What village type is that? I'll check tonight.
And for the quest, you need a sugary food that will please a child, and it's a Millénaire one. That's more than enough hints :wink.gif:
Is it due to vanilla being broken or a conflict with millenaire that all portals I build in the normal world lead to the same spot in the nether?
I wanted to link to villages via a nether tunnel so I built a portal at each but both lead to the portal of the first I built.
Now I don't know if that was already broken in vanilla or is a problem of millenaire or comes from another mod(combination) that I have. Just wanna ask because maybe it's known and that would save me the time of testing through all my mods.
Millénaire changes nothing to this. Check the Minecraft wiki for the portal behaviour, what is happening to you is a common problem but can be solved by temporarily deactivating one portal in the Nether.

Well, let's say it's a feature resented by many players. It's not hard to workaround though, the easiest being to make the first portal, go through it, break the Nether one by removing one obsidian from the frame, kill yourself in the Nether to respawn in the normal world, make the second portal and go through it creating the second Nether portal, then reactivating the first Nether portal.

I just space out my portals far apart enough to never cause this issue, Though usually my use of the Nether is for traversing great distances in the Overworld lol
Also do you have an editor to make the buildings? I mean these pixel files that show each layer and it's block according to the index pic.
If not I could make a modification of my BC Template Manager that can be used for making or editing Millenaire buildings, the index pic would be very handy for that.
I use PhotoShop myself but recently a program for this has been made, it is available at the wiki
I spaced my portals out like a dozen chunks or such and they still linked, how far are yours always apart? hundreds of chunks? Oo
Also I either can't find the link to get the editor or it's still as unstable as it read so that there's no link.
Either way I gotta have to make my own, shouldn't take that long since I have it already half working the way ML works.
A dozen chunks apart in the world, not the nether. Although the portals ended up relatively close to each other in the nether for a distance of half a map (from center to edge in my case).
Still they are a pain currently :dry.gif: hope that will work again in v1.
Oh... walking a dozen chunks in the Overworld while in the Nether is basically a dozen blocks...
Anyways back to ML, does the transparency in the building templates have a reason? I opened one in Gimp to get the delimiter color and it was 102 255 204 144 and parts of the template were transparent too while others weren't.
Nope, no reason whatsoever, some people use it for making sure they place blocks on the next level easier though someone before commented on being unable to make the buildings with transparencies
And for the quest, you need a sugary food that will please a child, and it's a Millénaire one. That's more than enough hints :wink.gif:
It´s the norman controlled one,
Thanks fo the tip :wink.gif:

Hullo, my name is Firespread. Sir Firespread, if you please. I'm naturally American and English is my native language, but I'm about 40% Russian, 20% French/German/Spanish/English, 10%Irish, 10% Israeli, 10% From every other developed country on earth, and 10% American.
So I guess you could say I'm Russian, even though I know none of the language. I do know some French, however. Anyway, I'm Sir Firespread, And I'm here to help. And rant.
First off, here's a list of the practical problems I have.
- I've downloaded the zip called 1.9.2 two times, but when I install it and start minecraft, it says that the version is 1.9.1
- "A mayan observatory"-village can't construct a new building. Corn farm I believe it is. When I give them the resources they need, the "needed resources" sign resets without the building being built. I've made quite a good guess that it's because there's not enough room (there were a lot of small lakes in the vicinity). I've begun terraforming the area around it but I don't know if it will help.
* Another problem with this village is that the woman who buys and sells from me sometimes "teleports" on top of the building where she either remains or somehow gets stuck and suffocated and consequently respawns.
- A lone indian house that I've traded with previously wouldn't load its NPCs today when I went there. Also the locked chests were "unlocked". I don't have any recollection of killing them ever.
I will separate my log into two parts. The full one (since last millénaire update) and the latest session.

I also have a ****-ton of mods installed but I don't know how to list them with modloader, so I'll try to list them according to memory.
BetterThanWolves (3.0)
Somnia
Great Wall mod
Walled Cities mod
WeCraft's mod(s)
Balkon's Weaponmod
Recipe Book
Wallmaps
Pam's BoneCraft
Pam's mini-mod "All the seeds!"
Museum Display Case
Timber!
Lightsensor
And of course:
ModLoader
MC Forge
To try and backtrack a bit, the most recent mods I've installed is Balkon and Great Wall/Walled Cities, as well as Timber!, Somnia and wallmaps. The Mayan village-problems existed before these new mods. The Indian Lone building-thing I discovered today.
Sounds to me like A) Mod conflict
Or :cool.gif: They're building other things.

Do hamlets ever spawn independent of gros bourgs and other full towns (i.e. Military)? If not, then I'd like to see that added in the future. I know you can spawn them with the wand, but I like to see them occur naturally. They'd be like the villages, while Gros Bourgs are more like towns and possibly, if the lag isn't too bad, huge towns (75-100). Actually, I think they should be optional (turned off by default), but they'd be 75-100 (sans hamlets/ suburbs). Now that we have player-controlled towns, I'd like to see some variety in the size of villages and towns. Lone hamlets would be like those tiny villages between bigger towns. (like rural areas around 11th century London, Paris, or whatever)
Also, I think the villager respawn issue is still happening. I found a lone building, whose sign says one thing, but the name tags above their heads says another thing. The first name keeps changing. If it's not your mod's fault, then maybe it's because of another mod. I'm not sure what would cause it though.
I have..
Somnia
Mo' Creatures
Millenaire
More Arrows
Light Sensor
Armor Stand
Death Chest
Shelves
Modloader (obviously)
Zan's Minimap
Single-player commands
Too Many Items
and I think that's about it.

"I don't plan to add a new dimension at the moment. It's just to performance heavy on servers, and the current dimensions need more attention before we start adding new ones." < Yeah, like biomes or actual varied terrain in the nether. Nether ruins didn't do the trick at all.
So I have started a player controlled Norman city. And i think I am starting to get the hang with placing buildings. However, I have noticed that the area that I can build in sees significantly smaller then the build radius on the map. I have my village radius set to 55, and used mc-edit to make a nice flat slab fitting almost exactly that radius. But i can only build buildings within the area right around my castle.
This screen shot shows the current layout. Basically if i try to build builds past the first "row" it just tells me i need a gold block to build a village. I can continue to build around the perimeter of the castle, but that space will be gone before I have half the town plotted out.
Basically, the Sadhu, whom I need to continue the Creation quest, disappeared. The basic circumstances are this: I have installed Tale of Kingdoms, Millenaire, TMI and ModLoader. I found the wiseman before I built my Kingdom, and then, once I finished that (ADD kicked in), I could nto find him again. There is a burning town near his home, but there is a six-block drop from the village to his grove. Also, it was lit enough around it to make sure no mobs spawned. Nevertheless, he has dissappeared, and after chopping down an entire forest (with the ToK worker, or course), I still cannot find him.
So, does he move alot? Or did ToK delete him because of the proximity?

I have all the mods you listed and also a Sadhu very near both a burning village and a reficule and he's survived.LOL. I did have to log out and back in every time I visited him because he was gone every time I went back to him and that respawned him. Is his tree still there?

Is this a normal limitation? Is it possible to extend the size of the player controller building area in the config files?
