1.6.5? Odd one to keep there, as 1.6.6 would've been better... It will, fairly obviously, still have the bugs that were fixed in the 1.6.6 update, but yes, if you rename the new "minecraft.jar" to "minecraft 1.7.jar", and then make your 1.6.5 .jar "minecraft.jar", Millénaire will work with that. You'll need to make sure you get the 1.6.5/6 version of ModLoader. Risagumi puts all the old versions under the link "Old versions", unsurprisingly :smile.gif: I'd suggest that you use the 1.6.5 version of Modloader, but if that doesn't work with this version of Millénaire, use the 1.6.6 version; 1.6.6 versions of mods should work fine on Minecraft 1.6.5. But, very importantly, back everything up first. Good luck! :smile.gif:
Thanks.:laugh.gif: Oh, and it wasn't my decision to keep the jar. For some reason it just stayed. The same thing happened around 1.5 for me aswell. I guess I'm just lucky!:biggrin.gif:
Awesome mod! Keep up the good work!
Please update to 1.7.2
If only we could round up everyone that refuses to read before posting and nuke them all from orbit.
On topic, I love this mod. It is as engaging on its own as the vanilla Minecraft was when I first started. It has eaten many of my weekends.
After a little research, it seems that the newest version is supposed to raise/lower the terrain level when I try to make a new village using the wand. However, when I try making a village at the top of a small mountain, it only says something like "cannot find room for town hall." After clearing out a large area, I still get this message.
I am using the latest version of the mod, and Minecraft 1.6.6.
Anyways, when the following happens thanks to those damn Mo' Ogres...
Will they automatically 'repair' it when they upgrade the building? It still works fine and all, but I don't want to have to repair it myself and do it wrong
unfortunately no unless you remove the whole building. The maker of this mod need to add in a repair function.
any ETA on millionaire updated?
Whether pigmen (I'm hoping...but doubting!) or humans, NPC villages would probably be non-hostiles. Still, maybe there would be a way for Millenaire villagers to differentiate? Can the villagers be coded to be hostile toward one PARTICULAR class (like, say, human NPCs that aren't follow villagers?), rather than "non-hostiles"? Otherwise, they'd attack pigs, sheep, and cows all the time.
No idea if it's even feasible, as I have NO understanding of code, much less the complexities of this mod! Still, I think it'd be neat to see a military village wipe out a tribe of pigmen. :biggrin.gif:
Ok so i downgraded to 1.6.6 and i know i installed this mode right and when i press v nothing happens. Does it only work if you are near one, or possible i downloaded the wrong mod loader i have no idea.

You must have either installed it wrong, not be running Minecraft client 1.6.6 (it only works on 1.6.6 for now) or your 'v' key has been swapped with another on your keyboard.

Im pretty lucky i actually found the solution. When dragging the files to the minecraft.jar i missed one. But its working now and the mod seems pretty awesome!
Note also that I am currently on leave, so there will be no update to Millénaire until late July. Sadly, that includes any update needed to restore compatibility with Minecraft should it be updated while I'm gone...
