Go to the building plans folder then to the "extra" folder after which you go into the "well.txt" (B/c Puit is Well in French :tongue.gif:) and you can adjust it from there
You remind me of many people I know here, apparently "Minnesota doesn't have enough activity for them" :smile.gif: Always off to Paris and London, to change the world and do things...
Changing the world might be exaggerating things a bit, but yes, I need activity :wink.gif:
I'm a little bit young to be a revanchist, sorry everyone, as for millenaire being relistic it strikes me as very much so, adding a depth that goblin or skelaton villages could not.
That is definitely my feeling, and the reason why I wanted to avoid the "generic fantasy medieval village" trap at all cost. I still think Millénaire isn't "realistic" in the sense that nothing in Minecraft can really be, but I'm trying!
Maybe it's the american in me proud of my ignorances and lack of culture. :wink.gif:
Euh, I lost you there :tongue.gif: I don't see why not wanting a village of skeletons would be a lack of culture :biggrin.gif:

City-dweller here, I like the countryside and all, but it's just... Too empty, and slow. Plus, I'm allergic to vast swathes of it :tongue.gif: Give me a bustling city full of fumes and noise pollution any day :biggrin.gif:
Personally, I could do without the pollution :wink.gif: One of the great thing about going back to Normandy is the fresh air and being able to actually see the stars properly at night! But yes, it does feel empty. Which is great... for a week or too :wink.gif:
Oh, and speaking of holidays, I think I mentioned it sometime back, but I'm off for three weeks on Friday, and I won't have access to my computer during that time, so no Millénaire update until I get back. Fingers crossed that 1.7 won't come out during my leaves...

Judging by Notch's twitter, it doesn't look like it'll be for a while, and we shall hold down the fort 'til you return :wink.gif:
Don't get stuck in the moat :wink.gif:

It'd probably be healthier without the pollution, and the stars are nice, but there's just that wonderful feeling I get when I inhale the slightly palpable London air :tongue.gif:
Thats called Asthma :smile.gif:
I don't even think you know what stars are joeyjam you havent seen anything.

It's not true that my ideas can cause injury, people just implement them wrong.

Another trade problem i noticed, although my grosbourg is not complete, so far the only area with a tavern is the main town, but you cannot sell cider apples to them, so and the apples don't seem to be traded by the merchants, so no cider is being made :L
Weird, i have the opposite problem, my grosburg has NO tavern and thay have over 1000 cider apples and thay just keep importing them, and thay WONT IMPORT WOOD even though thay NEED it more then ANYTHING atm and i have to get it all myself
something completly random, probobly consisting of the word epic at least one. Examples, "Epicness in a can" "Wall o' epic" "Epic episode III, the return of Epic" etc.
Well, yeah, there's the asthma too :tongue.gif:
I think my plans on going into an astrophysics course means I have to know at least a little about stars :wink.gif:
Aha! see, I droped the definate! I may be wrong but I said "I think", so there. :smile.gif:
Astrophysics cool, :smile.gif: but I mean the stars out here are amazing, when it's warm enough to go out it's a nice time.

There are a few questions I have in terms of content organization. These are directed at the community in general, although I certainly will respect the wishes of Kinniken on these points as well.
First off, where are discussions about content on the wiki taking place? I'm talking wiki organization and stuff, but also some of what I'm going to be discussing next. We could talk about this organization here on this thread, but there may be a need for discussions elsewhere too. Some of that already happened with the "Beginner's Guide", to cite an example.
The next thing I'd like to do is to organize some sort of list of player-developed buildings on the wiki with links to them and possibly organize a table(s) of information about those buildings. There are some impressive buildings which have been made, some of which have been incorporated into the mod and others that likely will never make it in. Some might be even good alternate buildings. Essentially, I'd like to build up a resources of "mods of the mod" which in this case are the buildings created by other users. I'm not trying to take away from the already existing building thread (which should continue to be utilized) but there reaches a point that some of the quality buildings are being buried in the stack of pages that are found there.
I'm willing to do the heavy lifting in terms of getting the content organized and setting up the wiki pages, so don't tell me it is too much work. On the other hand, I am treading lightly here because this is a new feature on the wiki and potentially could double the number of pages over there or more (depending on how active building makers might get). Is this something you would use? Would it help you in terms of being willing to contribute new buildings? How should the building information be stored on the wiki? Links to *.zip files or putting the *.png files directly onto the wiki (or both)? As significant, how can we cull out the redundant buildings and the early experiments that most people would find embarrassing yet be able to see "the best of" what the player community has come up with?
These forums work fine for general discussion and asking questions, but they really don't work out so well for displaying resources that aren't time sensitive. We have the wiki as a resource anyway, so I'm suggesting we take advantage of it.
The population sighn should tell you how many teens adults and children there are in the village, I think If you click on the main sighn it will give you thier names.
Ah right thanks
When I'm on the main sign, exactly what words/phrases should I be looking for to know what's a teen or not?
0.8.5 - 20/06/11
- Likely fix for the infamous "spinning lumberman" bug
- Fixed the infamous "walking-away trader" bug
- Fixes for the binary pathing
- New skin for the Knight by DarcNite
- The distance at which villagers' names and info are visible above their head is now configurable
On another note, YAY! & :sad.gif:
Now I can't kill Lumberjacks b/c they were bugging out lol
Ah right thanks

There you got me :smile.gif:
I know "Fille" means girl and "Garcon" means boy, so look for non filles and Garcons who do not work, I think. Doesn't it also say right on the pannel how many teenagers there are, or do you want to find them?

Yes me too,I have the exact same problem, I tried everything but they keep trading only cider apples and I get so frustrated. Sometimes I just buy their stuff and sell them to the Gros Bourg so it can expand, but I keep losing a lot, but a lot! of moneyz.
I believe I have a bug in my Gros Bourg, because they didn't import wood, they don't have a bucheron's hut and I'm the only guy that can give them wood. I've sold to them I believe wood and only once just for the first upgrade of the fort (btw it looks epic :biggrin.gif:, I panicked a little bit, because the builder was actually destroying all the corners of the building but now it looks mithy epic.) But now it seems that they get infinite wood, the 2 64 stacks and some other little pieces seem to not be used and they've just made 2 watch towers...
I don't wanna exploit this system so I bought the wood back. Dunno if I'm imaginating things or what.
I am getting the same error that was posted before. The good folks in my village seem to think the Market is the church and go there to pray. No merchants are showing up though but the building is being used. Any thoughts?
thank you very much.
