no idea what that means, but whenever i press 'v' in game i get like 15 error messages that tell me to go to the millenaire.log so i did, that and about 20 others were there.
Ok, I don't Know how to figure this out. Step by step.
1. I downloaded Millenaire 0.7.4 (I already have ModLoader)
2. I deleted "META_INF" or whatever it is.
3.I put the Millenaire folder from "Put in Minecraft Folder" Into my Minecraft folder when you open .minecraft.
4.I put the millenaire 0.7.4 zipped file into the "mods" folder (I asked my friend and he said I need to Unzip it. Do i?)
5. I open Minecraft and update it. I go to my world, press v, look for villages and nothing.
I have run into a little issue due to the change that limits the number of children in my town.
I built an borge autome town, and out of sheer luck, my couples have only produced daughters. Half the town is now filed with unmarried women standing in finished buildings. with 9 teen girls and no where for them to go. I have really put a lot of work into this save and don't want to have to toss it. Is there some way for me to "help" some of the teen girls out of town?
I cant kill them as they just re spawn, and I do not want to destroy the buildings because they wont replace them.
Any way to kill of all the kids so they start breeding again? or raising the cap on kids? I have one house in town with only one teen girl in it, so If I could make more kids I might get lucky and get a boy.....
Another bug
i got a forge build on top of the entrance to my under ground house Which was made of planks
i thought that they were supposed to not build on player made blocks?

Please Don't insult my grammar or Spelling i Have Dyslexia
So having had my church town completely finished, all buildings built, all upgrades upgraded, etc., I decided to start a new world. Had a plan, too... having bought a village wand in my last world, I used INVedit to transfer the wand and a diamond block to a new world, with the intentions of setting up a gros bourg. I found a flat spot near spawn, placed the diamond block, and used the wand on it. Nothing happened.
At first I thought it was a "not enough flat land" error, but then I realized I hadn't gotten an error message at all.
So I opened up the log file, and it seems that using the wand threw an exception.

It's not a mod conflict; tested it with a fresh .jar.
The only cause I can think of is something to do with using INVedit to move the wand from one inventory to another, but I don't think that's the case...

I'm pretty sure this is due to trying to register a building beyond the "sky" limit, something I don't check for very well. Did you try and place your village at the top of a very high mountain?

They only check for artifical blocks above the surface. It sucks for your underground house, but checking for valid blocks below the surface just made things much more complicated in most other scenarios (like players covering up lakes etc.). If you put at least a few artificial blocks on the surface above your house you'll be fine.

Hmm, making the max number of children a parameter would be simple. Otherwise I think I'll need to add some check for too high numbers of boys or girls - 10 girls or boys in a row is bad luck, but with enough people playing it does happen I guess.

How does the village decide where to build buildings? It says they're no room to build a Grande Fountain, but it won't update even after I've cleared lots and lots of land to build on. There enough green on the village map to build another Carrier, but nothing is happening.
UPDATE:
The village has started building an Archives WHILE it says there is no room to build a Grande Fountain. :|
Fountains must be build close to the centre of the village, that's why they often have space problems.

And as I stated before, French is nothing but bad pronounced English, thus I do not see the problem with the language at all... (I had taken cover the last time I had given this comment, so I do not know if some French out there had tried to lynch me :biggrin.gif:)

"java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Slot 125 is already occupied by MLBlockPanel@1b6a053 when adding " is my error.
This mod is not compatible with BetterBlocks
this can easily be fixed by changing the block IDs in the config.txt until you find one that works. (if you're in windows, make sure to save it ANSI encoded)

as stated the grand fountain wants to be close to the village center. BACK UP YOUR SAVE, then go to config.txt and change the "min distance between buildings" (or something like that) from 5 to 4. make sure you completely close minecraft and load it again. If that doesn't work after a couple minutes try going from 4 to 3, but any smaller and your buildings will be way too cramped. There are some other things to try on the Wiki's FAQ, but make sure to BACK UP YOUR SAVE before trying them. :biggrin.gif:
im very confused, i have 2 children, i have given them MANY pieces of bread, and there are 2 buildings open, WHY WONT THEY GROW UP?!?!?
how are you 'giving' them bread? I THINK it counts the food the village is making, not like what you sell them or whatever, and that doesn't make it happen, only increases the chances. Has it been a couple days? They go from kids to teens and then they'll move into an empty house, but sometimes it can take a while, have some patience.Typically i have a few kids and a few empty buildings before my town takes off. it's normal.

Make sure you don't sleep in a bed at night, as they only grow up at night. That was my problem. Huge village, had a few kids, and only had like 6 villagers. Started sleeping, and I suddenly has 30. ;D

After the construction of the building, the builder brings back all the wood in the number x2.

pretty sure there's a way to do this, though i can't check right now. go to the wiki (link in the OP) there an FAQ there, maybe it's there.
