would it be possible to code to have the mod send me global chat updates? particularly like when a village completes a building or upgrade, or needs a resource? it would be cool to hear about the completions, like progression announcements, and also handy to be able to get the info without visiting the townhalls. minecraft is a big world after all.

I need help....the previous versions work....but not this one. I figured out the problem without the solution. If I place Milleniare.0.7.6. in my mods folder my Minecraft turns into a black screen and I have to exit out. And when I take it out of the mods folder it works but there are no villages. PLZ HELP!

Ya im not sure Global chat would work well, when you have more then one town hall active it would be a real mess to tell who is asking for what at times.
I like the idea of an attuned scroll. maybe you could put notchs "map" code to use and have it work in a similar way. maybe showing a small version of the town map and a small area scroll status updates.

I was so happy when it said they attack monsters! But they only spawn during the night, what's the point then? lol

I noticed that you have a nice little effect that kills creepers within the radius of the village.
Would it be possible to make that something that a config list could be created for?
I plan on using mo Creatures again once Zhark has it back up, and would love to add a couple of mobs to the kill list, so that I don't have to remove them altogether.
As without having the villages able to repair buildings its bad to have ogres walk through town.....:smile.gif:
Fantastic mod! If I had to choose one, this would be it. I only wished it worked on existing maps. Very good instillation instructions - worked the 1st time. The only bug I saw was the lumberjack running in a circle. eventually I just whacked him and he straightened out.
Not sure if it a bug. But I have noticed several 'dig' spots around the middle of the where just one tile is dug up, and then stops, showing a stone tile. Also there's larger id say 6*6*6 holes where some stone has been mined out and just leaving a hole, not getting used more that once (it appears) for mining out a specified qty of stone. I'm thinking this will stop as soon as there's a quarry. these are just kind of a nuisance.
I got an error message from Millenaire in-game and figured I should report it. Seems to have something to do with the pig farm.

Quick questions: Does updating the mod erase your current save? I updated from 0.7.3 to 0.7.5 and my game black screened, and i could not revert to my former save so I had start over again. =[

It shouldn't, or at least never has for me. If your world doesn't even show up on the selection options (but is there in the .minecraft/saves folder) then it has possibly gotten corrupt. - I had this happen before when Minecraft crashed when I was playing it. You might be able to use MCedit to fix the problem. (Usually it's due to have your spawn location get screwed, so if you move your player position and spawn location might work). Or you could at least load it up with MCedit to see what's there.
If your save folder for the world isn't even there in the .minecraft/saves folder... idk what to tell you.
I've done EVERYTHING correct, looked at all the read mes and everything.
I've got the modloader in the right place and it's the right version as a well as the other files.
But this is my problem; i'll copy and paste you you or print screen...

My minecraft loads perfect, but when i generate a new world, wonder round for couple mins and press v, nothing comes up, nothing even saids its activated, so i have no clue whats going wrong, or where i'm going wrong
It looks like you have installed Millenaire improperly. The easiest way to install Millenaire is to extract the zip you downloaded. Then copy/paste the [millenaire] folder to .minecraft folder and the extracted millenaire0.7.5.zip to the .minecraft/mods folder.
If you tried installing the folders/files/zip files to the minecraft.jar you probably did something wrong. [I don't recommend installing Millenaire that way, .zip files are so much easier.] - You may have to start from a fresh jar, or fresh jar w/ modloader pre-loaded.
*looks at the error harder* Ah, it seems like it can't find the one of the sprites (perhaps all of the sprites, or the sprites folder.. ) [or maybe that's the .class file *shrugs* Modloader is definitely failing to locate pieces of the Millenaire mod]

I think more than actual bug this is due to me having raised the amount of wood that is "earmarked" for construction and not to be exported or otherwise used. I suppose I could allow the miner's wife to take from it, he doesn't need much anyway.
However I think you exaggerate the impact of it. I don't remember anybody else complaining about it at least. And you can always put wood in the furnaces yourself if it bothers you so much.

Just realized the male on the quarry has a wrong path.
When hes going upstairs he turns right (facing the house now) 1 block earlier, he then stay stuck for a while, then teleports to the top of the furnace closest to the door, then is teleported to the house roof where he, magicaly, puts the items on the chest.
Its a pathing only bug, since hes getting the resources correctly.
I think this is the mod that gets updated more often, good job.
