yea if that is the japanese fort then it is a bug.
I've noticed the mayan groves have a dirt path block "blocking" the entrance also controlled norman villages don't have water wells to increase crop irrigation D=
Quick question, how do I go about updating this mod?
Do I just need to replace the folders or will I also have to update the minecraft.jar file?
Thanks in advance!
To update you only replace the two folders and the zip file in your /mods folder.
But if you have changed some options (manually or in-game) regarding Millenaire - don't replace the /Millenaire-customs folder!
I.e, No .jar hacking for Millenaire since Forge takes care of it. I only touch the jar file for Forge and Optifine updates.
I've tried that, I haven't found any answers, hence my post here. All anyone says is "check your rep", which does not answer my question.
It isn't meant to answer your question per se, it is meant to have you check your rep and then report back if you think it is right.
My rep is excellent with Hindu and Norman. I only recently found one Japanese village and one Mayan village and have no idea where they are anymore...my main method of travel is Dragon, so I've been flying very long distances. Whose rep does the Adavasi fall under? Or do they have their own? I've been buying their rice every time its available and have run the "delivery needed" quest several times so I'd imagine my rep with them is high also...how do you check? The only Adavasi I've found only has a man and wife with two kids, no village leader to ask how high my rep is.
Not sure if this was going to happen ... I'm in the sixth upgrade from Bousai, and the roof is weird that way ...
This is a bug, or was to be built this way?
The stairs are not turned right, this is exactly like my problem I was having earlier where the signs weren't turned right and just falling off the walls, be sure to post about this on the Bug Reports page.
do a ice age millenaire village.(not the movie, the real one)
Millenaire literally means 11th-century, the ice age that you are talking about was not during the 11th-century, though technically some people say we are currently still in an ice age since all of the ice hasn't melted yet from the last one.
Just ran a search through the thread and didnt see this question asked or answered, and if it was there but i grazed over it, sorry. My question is: Is there any way to add more biomes to the Creation quest chapter where you walk through a forest biome? When using extrabiomes finding a vanilla biome, particularly the forest biome is very difficult. Even after using an editing program to paint an area as a forest biome, walking in it didnt trigger the quest.

The Adavasi wont say anything to me except to trade and to give the "delivery needed" quest. When I speak to the nearest Hindi village leader he says I am "One of us"
Oh, you are checking your reputation with that... go to a village elder and check it there. idk what Steller equates to.
The Adavasi wont say anything to me except to trade and to give the "delivery needed" quest. When I speak to the nearest Hindi village leader he says I am "One of us"
The Sadhu Marsh expert quest. It requires me to speak to the lone Adavasi farmer and gather items from them to bring back to him. But the Adavasi won't give me the quest line.

A detailed walkthrough of the error, its code path and all known details is as follows:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have a couple of mods installed and I'm pretty sure it isn't compatible with one of them, but I can't figure out wich one!
Help would be much appreciated!
The issue is with Millenaire block IDs being overwritten by Buildcraft's (as you would know if you bothered to read through the errorlog)
The fix is to change either millenaire's ids in the config to some other numbers, or Buildcraft's numbers to something else in it's config
I fixed it by changing all the 15xx ids in millenaire to 16xx.
On another note: I think I know what caused the mod to show on forge, load, but not function properly ingame it's to do with me adding to the forbidden blocks list: obviously I've used the wrong syntax, or the feature is broken like the installer, if anyone knows the correct syntax I'd be much obliged if you could share it (a search of "forbidden blocks syntax" in this thread yeilded nothing)
I kinda don't want villages building on top of my fantastic contraptions.
I can't get past th advasii on the sadhu missions... before on 4.9.5 I just got a food mission from the guy, and the woman just sold things... nothing... a few weeks of messing around I realized that the ime of day affected dailouge, that is that sadhu actually spoke about the missions, so I tried it again, this time neither speak, AND when I right click the woman my game crashes, does mil. not go good with thaum? here's the log i'm stareing at right now...

I'd like to add to this - same problem with ExtrabiomesXL. I added cracked sand and quicksand to the forbidden blocks list in config.txt but the villagers will still build over them, they simply dig the foundations down to the lowest level of the forbidden block (treating them as if they don't exist?)I saw a Norman Well for the first time - and there's a 1 block wide ring of air around it down to the bottom. I'm guessing this is not correct... anyone else have this?

I took a look at the Norman well building plan and it does indeed have a 1 block wide ring of air around it. The building plan will have to be fixed to instead preserve the block instead of turning it to air.
I have a suggestion; Countries of each culture and Player-ran empires. If you can start a village, and another village of the same culture pops up, you could start a principality. Once you build up more villages of the same culture, you can make the first village the capital and you could manage your nation from there.
But yea, will there be something in Millenaire where when you are leader of a culture, you can start more villages and become a nation, instead of just going to each village and managing every single one.
Currently playing the Mayan quest.Really fun, I had to forge some strong diamond armor. But sadly while I was talking on the monsters in the 6th Quest, I crashed. Now my minecraft has a black screen.

Try posting about it on the Bug Reports page and say that more than one person is having this problem. Nice sleuthing.
I have a Gunjiteki Mura Village and wanna build a Kai Ie.
In north and west are a lot of flat empty land. Edit : and now east too
I change the village_radius=56 to 70 to 110 to 500 ( with 500 only one chunk loads *smile* ) nothing helps.
Using 4.3.2.1 Feed the Beast Mod New World ( without Meteor Mod )
Edit 2 : Arghs and now he build it in north with 70 radius. I dunno why now. Resources was all the time full.
Edit 3 : And now he dont wanna build the archiv....
What version of Millenaire is that?
Go into Creative Mode and check the chests, make sure they actually have all of the items they need, also be sure no one is running off with the needed materials as that has been a problem in the past.
I took a look at the Norman well building plan and it does indeed have a 1 block wide ring of air around it. The building plan will have to be fixed to instead preserve the block instead of turning it to air.
Nice eye, be sure to post about this on the Bug Reports page.
I've noticed the mayan groves have a dirt path block "blocking" the entrance also controlled norman villages don't have water wells to increase crop irrigation D=

According to the wiki, the Adivasi is a Hindi farm.
http://millenaire.org/wiki/Hindi:Lone_Adivasi_ka_Ghar
Buying rice every now and then won't get your rep pretty high too quickly... it would take a long time actually.
Are you sure? Have you looked up the wiki page for each of them?
The stairs are not turned right, this is exactly like my problem I was having earlier where the signs weren't turned right and just falling off the walls, be sure to post about this on the Bug Reports page.

If the Adavasi are Hindi then my rep with the Hindi is "Stellar". If that is not enough rep for them to give me the quest then what is?
http://millenaire.org/wiki/Reputation
But Steller isn't an available reputation...?
Too bad, that means you have to go looking again.
player.me/felinoel
Anyone who can help, give it a click and help them grow!
That's what it says here:
The Adavasi wont say anything to me except to trade and to give the "delivery needed" quest. When I speak to the nearest Hindi village leader he says I am "One of us"
What quest are you trying to do with the Adivasi?
player.me/felinoel
The Sadhu Marsh expert quest. It requires me to speak to the lone Adavasi farmer and gather items from them to bring back to him. But the Adavasi won't give me the quest line.

--- END ERROR REPORT f80167fc ----------
I'd like to add to this - same problem with ExtrabiomesXL.
But yea, will there be something in Millenaire where when you are leader of a culture, you can start more villages and become a nation, instead of just going to each village and managing every single one.
This one?

No.
This seems to be a reoccurring issue...
Try posting about it on the Bug Reports page and say that more than one person is having this problem. Nice sleuthing.
What version of Millenaire is that?
Go into Creative Mode and check the chests, make sure they actually have all of the items they need, also be sure no one is running off with the needed materials as that has been a problem in the past.
Nice eye, be sure to post about this on the Bug Reports page.
