Don't get me wrong, the mod is great, but the fact that I've had quite a few of these villages overlap right on top of a vanilla village (bunch of houses half-destroyed and a bunch of homeless Testificates,) NPCs kept disappearing, and it'd randomly take a ton of memory for no apparent reason, I think I'll wait on the actual mod a little.
(A shame, since those blocks it adds are soo nice for building. )

Well Millenaire has been around since way before Testificates came out so there wasn't any preventative code put in place and only recently have Testificates become mildly useful.
But you can build them new houses if you want.

Yeah but that was also suppose to be fixed in 4.1.2 and it wasnt. I havent updated to 4.1.3 yet... or 4.1.4 now. Also the same method can be applied to any material you cannot normally sell to any culture (byzantine tiles, bricks, Mayan Carvings, Hindi Statues, etc). I dont know how many times the Hindi Qila village stalled because it needed the statue before building the place that produces them...
Can villages not be spawned on ice or snow blocks? That makes sense but I have someone on my server wanting to spawn a village in on this giant glacial biome that is big and empty and perfect for a village...

Well the 4.1.3 update did say that some of the fixes were accidentally not packaged in the 4.1.2 so that is why they weren't fixed then, because the fixes weren't in it.
After testing 4.1.3 on my server I got this after flying into new chunks for about half an hour

EDIT just jammed that up here, now ive read it I noticed the mentilonn of dungeon mobs in the crash report. Ill try and remove this from the server and test further but this was installed on my SSP game.

Well that sucks. They have been searching (hopefully) for a fix for the Mayan builder for 2-3 minecraft patches and it still hasn't surfaced. Either they aren't looking hard enough, or it's a really hard issue to fix! I'm guessing it's just hard to fix though.

But back then Norman was the only culture.
Each village has their own .txt file named after itself.
If you change the weight of villages do they go into the custom folder? And if they do, are they overwritten after each update?
Yes, it's better to put them in millenaire-custom, then you don't have to redo it every time. The only risk is that if I change anything in the village files (adding a new building, for instance) your files won't have the modification.

I was using the forge built in with ftb, and getting those issues, i haven't installed anything other than the direwolf pack and millenaire and i can't sell to villagers still. Any other ideas?
