ok so Millenaire multiplayer support is awsome, we even found a few fun issues
so this industrial hamlet got a touch too industrius
meh who needs floors?
and I could only get this next one to happen in single player, it triggers when I try to open the single chests in any building, oh was in creative didn't try normal
full village carpeting, I am so not gonna vacuum that floor
Ok now those are entertaining bugs
I have zero idea what caused the first. Never seen anything like that.
For the second it's because you still have a dev config file I shipped by mistake in a previous update. That wool thing is a debug system, it shows pathing zones.
I still have this error with trader in SMP. Server says:
java.lang.NullPointerException
at lx.a(SourceFile:242)
at ls.a(SourceFile:37)
at lx.a(SourceFile:176)
at qq.g(NetworkManager.java:179)
at qq.d(NetworkManager.java:431)
at zu.run(SourceFile:99)
It's OK with vanilla block ids. I don't know if it's my own particular error - is it generally fixed? Well, i'm ready to left it as is
Did you change the settings on one side and not the other? If your ids do not match on client and server it won't work.

Did you change the settings on one side and not the other? If your ids do not match on client and server it won't work.
Settings are same on client and server. I just made all four custom config files identical. If you already fixed that, maybe it's because one of other mods? Now i'll try to turn them off one by one...
For the second it's because you still have a dev config file I shipped by mistake in a previous update. That wool thing is a debug system, it shows pathing zones.
is it fixed in the current release? cause I downloaded the mod and installed to a brand new minecraft folder after your message about the mistake in packaging
I just noticed something you may want to tweak
In the village(norman with like 3 other norman villages near it according to the v buttons function) I'm using for a base in one of my saves(was gonna just be a mod testing map to see mods don't crash mc until I found that the world it generated was awesome)
The Miner wasn't mining a few minecraft days I arrived so I did his job then got annoyed when he messed with the entrance I had built so I made it hard for him to access (only mentioning that on the off chance it had some effect)but he keeps putting stacks of planks in the fuel slot of his 2 forges (mainly one of them but yeah) and a little sand or cobble and it nets me a limitless supply of stacks of 64 planks and minor amounts of sand/glass/cobble/stone
It seems to be an easily abused limitless source of the items
Also would like to see a culture like the romans(since ancient rome had some awesomely good designing skill n wellthey just rocked at alot of stuff :P) added at somepoint (mentioning it as it could get people into the idea :D)
It could also pay to add some mobs that would have been around in the sorta times the cultures the mod uses are from and make certain animals spawn more often depending on nearby cultures(meh its just an idea since some cultures generally helped certain animals to end up surviving better in some areas (and completely destroyed others))
sorry for the long post, just getting some ideas out there and the seemingly exploitable plank supply noticed

here is an error report while using 3.0b3 and trying to trade with a mayan woman. This error is repeatable.

Now about how to produce that error:
I recogniced that some slots in the trading menu didn't show their icons or graphics.
- Upper Row: Slot 1, Slot 7 Cobblestone
- Lower Row: Slot 11 Maize
As long as I'm not moving my mouse cursor over one of these slots I can open and close the trading menu.
But if I'm moving the mouse cursor over one of these slots MC crashes with the error log above in the spoiler.
I hope this helps you finding the error.
Edit:
Oh - don't forget: I have changed my BlockIDs and ItemIDs in the config.txt.
just a guess but the code that contains the trade stoof might still point to old id's yet know what the items are meant to be (unsure how to word this I'm not in scripting (I do understand some basic html code)so this may be a bit hard to get without reading it a few times)causing it to screw up cause having some info on one item some on another
I would recommend any item id's you change to be for other mods and not millenaire (but thats just how I'd do things)
also it could be some mod other than millenaire screwing with millenaire in some way or another(some conflicting mods clash in strange strange ways)
Hope you can get it sorted

I love this mod and have played with it off and on since the start. I love the monument for your contributors but I have to say one thing about it. It sucks for it to spawn on you.
I took suffocation damage from it but luckily I was in the desert and was able to quickly dig an air hole then dig a path out of it.
All is good and totally loving it. Made new game for 3.0b3 and that is where it got me.
Once you finish the MP port, seeing as you're using forge, could it be possible to set up an API for custom villager types (special models, special activities, health, armor, damage, etc.), food types, pretty much everything in millenaire that isn't currently in it, an API that allows you to integrate it into millenaire. Shouldn't be too hard with forge, it tends to make things easier.
When i saw this had an experimental MP support i went.... OMGAISDHFIUEHRNSDPUDDINGUFNAUBBQSAUCEIGIUEGTHIUSF I've always wanted this to come out for multiplayer since the first day I saw it

Ok so i have a question. Is there way to make your village bigger so it does not say "place a obsidian or gold block to generate a village" instead of bringing up the list of buildings?
I have a big bug. Japanese and Norman villages wont load. There is norman outposts and items in creative, but no trace of ANY japanese culture. i use the version featured in the the Yogbox 1.2.3 build. i know i am not the only one reciveing this issue. Others can find Norman villages, but to my knowlage no one can find Japanese villages. Please help.
Hello, there is a bug with the chests being created by the NPCs, when the NPCs of the village make chests, the chests aren't accessible. Basically, the chests are created as locked chests
well I got a non crashing errory thingy in the latest version on the wiki (probably not the true latest version ) that I dunno what it did or anything but it said to check the log which said
2.7.8 18-07-2012 12:34:20 ERROR: MLVillager: Ottilia Fredegar: Exception in Villager.onUpdate():

what exactly did the exception cause? and what caused it? (If you can tell from what the log says)
just hoping it didn't do anything that majorly screws over that village (my main base is there and my first house there will be built once I find 2 more of some resource it needs)
anyway if you know what that error thing is about I would love to know

That's supposed to happen so you have to trade with the villagers instead of stealing from them. It's not a bug.

Let’s play good guys against bad guys… Yes. Let’s play that. Are you ready? You’re the bad guy. And when you’re bad, you just run. That’s fine right? Well… Shall we play?
Enjoying this mod, but like some others I find the Hindi's bricks to be a pain to create, especially for some of their more impressive things--1800 for the Bangla.

1.Using the Mayan carving would crash the server.
2. If I try to look at the population sign, it also crashes.
Those are the only major bugs i have found, and this mod makes every server better!
