This mod actually consists of two parts, the engine and the contents. Kinniken is the the creator of the engine. The contents has been created and improved by a lot of people, Kinniken included.
So everyone is free to create new content, new cultures, new village types, translations, etc. And if the new stuff is good enough and confirm with the main ideas behind the mod, the new stuff might become part of the mod.
I can't believe this mod is still alive. Hopefully there's a new release soon? Thiswas one of my go-to mods back in Beta
Kinniken has gotten help from another mod developer and as far as I know they are still working on the update to 1.8.9
I haven't seen any news the last few weeks but the he said he was going to focus on updating instead of reading forums etc.
Time will tell.
I'm just wondering since I'm thinking about getting it, could someone tell me how compatible with Minecraft Comes Alive is this? Do the two mods just kinda mix naturally, like some mods that are similar, or just are able to work while installed at the same time? Yes, I read the wiki to see if they were compatible, but it didn't exactly answer this.

Ok so I'm playing on a custom modpack, with both Millenaire and Witchery (among other mods). I want to become a sort of vampire count, and rule my villages, seperate from my castle, as a vampire. There is just one problem, however: the villagers will not work at night. I wonder if perhaps there is a way to either get them to work at night, or to continue functioning while I am not around (I have a chunkloader set up). Otherwise I'll have to choose one or the other, which is not a big deal, but it would be nice if I could do both. Any suggestions? It's also worth noting I'm playing on a private server run by my friend, if that changes anything.

You could manually edit the sun and moon files to swap out and change the light levels for day and night, otherwise Millenaire is hardcoded to work during the day and sleep at night

That list on the wiki was made before Minecraft Comes Alive even existed lol, anyways Millenaire does not interfere with vanilla Minecraft villagers and MCA does, so there is no conflict.
The different kinds of villagers will not mix and do the things the other modded villagers can do, they will both exist and do what they are supposed to do though.
Thank you.
Ice and Fire: Dragons in a whole new light
From what I hear, yes.

Perfect, please tell someone at http://millenaire.org/forum/. I think they will love the extra help.

Thank you and more power!

Thanks, but don't worry about it, I found a workaround. Mystcraft cave worlds are a godsend.
Anyway to reduce lag? I have a very strong computer but the game is constantly having huge lag spikes and it makes it unplayable....
Ha, I know right? This is a classic mod bringing villagers to Minecraft since before Minecraft had villagers.
I can't wait for the new release.
