But Millenaire works. If I start a new game, everything is fine. I think the problem is in the save too not in millenaire alone.
Millenaire has an issue with unloading and loading of chunks within the game. If you visit a village, go far away (unloading the Millenaire village), and then come back to it later, the people get glitchy. (Sometimes, they get stuck, etc). One remedy (especially if you use NEI), is to get ChickenBone's chunkloader. (Any chunkloader should work fine, but you'd already have the dependency if you have NEI). A chunkloader keeps a certain number of chunks loaded even when you leave the area and go somewhere else. One thing I did, however, was I put a command block in the game that automatically gives the player the chunkloader when they press a button (instead of having it crafted). In my opinion, if a mod needs a chunkloader to function properly, I shouldn't have to craft the chunkloader. However, if the short term, closing out of the game, and launching the world again fixes it, temporarily. The chunkloader is a more long-term "fix."

I don't think you have to leave the game, only the world, and the load the world to get things running again.
Millenaire didn't have this chunk problem earlier - my personal feeling is that it has gotten much worse the last year or so, maybe changes in forge?

It could either be forge or Optifine and how it handles dynamic chunk loading, etc. I do know that it was suggested to me to use a Chunkloader and I gave it a shot and found it to work well. Just keep the amount of chunks loaded as small as necessary (to avoid lag issues). I keep each chunkloader just big enough to keep the villages I trade with loaded (to avoid the problems). Although, if the problem still exists without Optfine (never have ran Minecraft without it), then more than likely Forge is a culprit.

Must have been a change in how vanilla Minecraft loads its chunks that Millenaire wasn't able to accommodate.
i have a crash error, and although i use many more mods,i do use millenaire and since that tends to be the root of many problems so i wanted to post it here...

it happens when i make/load the world.... it goes to like downloading world, then building, then it goes shutting down internal server and the crash error comes up
I noticed your endercore is an alpha version. Try updating it (there's a beta version out now). As an alpha mod, it is prone to errors. See if that helps any.
I completely removed it cause i dont have any mods that even need it (I dont even remember why i got it in the first place), but it was the same deal... so heres a slightly more up to date crash report? xD

After searching on the wiki, this thread and (miserably) on youtube about this I couldn't find much of an answer, it might be obvious but I'll still ask.
In the different kinds of plot/houses you can buy, (I've only unlocked the first one so far), By buying the next tier does it upgrade the previous one or do they build a completly new thing in another part of the village? to the point where you own 3 plots and 3 houses if you buy all?
Does going to the village, closing out of the world, and re-entering it fix it temporarily? If yes, then you have the same issue I had. The only solution is to get a chunk loader and keep the village actively loaded at all times. The people have a tendency to get all screwy when they are unloaded and reloaded. But, (at least for me), when they get all screwy, closing out of the world completely, and re-entering it loaded them correctly.
If all panels are blank then I think that the saved data for millenaire is corrupt and sadly there is as far as I know very little to do.
(using aromabackup mod so that you can restore a version were they still worked is recommended).
If just a few panels are blank then there might be a problem with missing strings in one or more config files.
move the millenaire.log files from the /millenaire folder and start MC. after loading the world and maybe try to interact with the village; check the log file and see if you can see any error that might be connected to missing strings, not always obvious but I'v managed to get some panels working again that way.
PS. Kinniken has got in contact with at least one modder that can help him update the mod. I think he has a few more spots free for experienced modders that want to help DS.
i once tried to make a notredame esque cathedral in a server that got shut down, and always wanted to put a cathedral into world gen. (sadly i dont have enough ram to set up a workspace for modding myself) i also make European cottage style houses too.

Could still be Millenaire but nothing in the log indicates Millenaire nor any special mod.
Is this log from a server?
When does the crash happen? During loading or play?
it happens when i make/load the world.... it goes to like downloading world, then building, then it goes shutting down internal server and the crash error comes up
I noticed your endercore is an alpha version. Try updating it (there's a beta version out now). As an alpha mod, it is prone to errors. See if that helps any.
I completely removed it cause i dont have any mods that even need it (I dont even remember why i got it in the first place), but it was the same deal... so heres a slightly more up to date crash report? xD

I am a little unclear about the config. How would I make villages less common?
I only play QUALITY mods like Orespawn and Lucky Blocks. No AoA, Betweenlands, Twilight Forest, or LOTR. (Sarcasm is so fun when it offends people)
Anyone know from where the local merchant finds the imports/exports he will sell or buy inceide inn?
Is there any config file to determine what kind of resources he will choose?
How this works in general?
If MC also crashes with a new world then I would:
- make a full backup
- remove all mods (i.e keep MC and Forge)
- start game and load a new world - and if this doesn't work reinstall MC and a fresh copy of forge
- I might even try to load a copy of the old world to see what happens
- then I would add a one or a few mods at a time, start game, load new world ...
- repeat until I find the mod that has the problem.
If you buy another one it just adds to the town, they don't tear down your current house.
I recommend not buying the lower tiers of houses because by the time you get to the top tier house there won't be room

Thank you, i knew it was a simple thing but i didn't want to take any chances =)
Send Kinniken money and beg him to fix the mod.... its closed source or I would have hired someone to fix it already.

Send Kinniken money for just playing his mod in the first place.
I think he has a few more spots free for experienced modders that want to help DS.
do you take submissions for buildings?
i once tried to make a notredame esque cathedral in a server that got shut down, and always wanted to put a cathedral into world gen. (sadly i dont have enough ram to set up a workspace for modding myself) i also make European cottage style houses too.
