can trades be added to millenaire villagers/villages. I should like to expand the available trades significantly if I am able as I feel that there is very little worth buying from villages due to all the mdos I have installed. Can modded items be added as tradeable also ?
We do have a Byzantine village near our bases that is practically always active. The others are usually frozen.
We have chunkloaders (Dimensional Anchors) in our bases, a few chunks away from the village and the server even crashes with the same Out of Memory exceptions when no one is online. Raids are disabled.
The chunkloaders count as people, they keep the chunks loaded all the time.
I just installed a vanilla version of Millenaire 4.1.8 and almost all of the villagers have white skins, and some of the villagers look like this (looks like they have a white cover and the original skin is under)
Maybe I missed it, but which solution in the Millénaire FAQ? I have 41 villagers (30 adults) and 24 buildings, but not one (nor two) villager will work in the workshops in either village. Thus no one to make tiles. The workshop's sign is blank.
My main village will buy some items from me, like iron, but not others that they need for existing projects, like glass or stone (don't know about the tiles as there's no one to make them). They won't buy clay either.
i "fixed" the white textures. Quit and re-enter to the game, that fix the white villagers. Anyways, the white villagers appears when a new village is spawned in the map. Probably some bug with optifine? with the 4.1.4 version of millenaire i didn't have this problem, it started to happen with the 4.1.8 version
I had the white villagers problem, but when I quit and came back, the village was gone, except for the roofs and some walls. Now all of a sudden I keep getting a crash report when I load a new world

--- END ERROR REPORT a852f63b ----------
The problems I keep having with this mod, combined with the sheer amount of resources it hogs, makes it pretty much unplayable for me. Really sucks because I really like the mod, when I'm able to play it.
No idea, it depends on what's wrong with your village. Where are your villagers? What are your village signs showing?
My villagers are just walking around within the boundaries of the village, and their signs say nothing. Only their titles show; they don't say anything, and they don't have personal obectives (E.g. "[Taking resources from home]").
My mistake, the one I was thinking of was for how to get tiles, try this one instead.
i checked the FAQ's, but i didn't found something that can help me to fix the problem :s
Oh, looks like it was one of the ones removed when the FAQ was cleaned up a year or so ago...
Anyways the fix it listed was to reinstall, so delete EVERYTHING except your world files (this includes all versions of Java on your computer), then reinstall it all back on (only one version of Java though), and try that.
i "fixed" the white textures. Quit and re-enter to the game, that fix the white villagers. Anyways, the white villagers appears when a new village is spawned in the map. Anyone know why villagers dissapear and become invisible? On my private server where me and my friend play we have been enjoying this mod greatly. But we seem to have a constant issue of villagers becoming invisible to one of us forcing us to relog to see them again. And this happens fairly often. You can even hear the villager in question walking around if you know where they are supposed to be, yet you cant see them.
Edit:
Also does anyone know what setting it is that changes the distance from when villages first spawn? Currently they are only showing up once you are right next to where they appear. So walking around suddenly a village is 20ft infront of you from thin air.

It seems to me that anytime I go further than 4 chunks away they start going missing. Besides the disappearing even though they are there, they also stop working, breeding, and otherwise being productive members of society.
There seems to be a ton of derpiness that wasn't there in the 1.2.5 versions performance may have sucked but it was a lot less buggy.
idk if there is one planned..? Did you post about the issue on the Bug Reports page to be sure the OP knows?
Did you try the solution I talked about to be sure it actually is an optifine problem?
today i'm going to re-install the game and the mods, and if that doesn't work, i'll post the issue in the bug report. And anyways there's a new version of optifine that isn't relased yet (it's a preview), and when its relased i'll test and see if the error persist.
I ran into a small bug while focusing on my Bukkyou Mura. It seems teh village wants to build a second Imperial Office now that the one as its town center is finished. Pics below:
I looked into the village file and dont see any evidence as to why the village would do this:
name:Bukkyou Mura
weight:10
carriesraid:true
biome:plains
biome:extreme hills
//extraBiomes mod
biome:green hills
biome:ice mountains
biome:birch forest
biome:autumn woods
//to be built in priority
core:japanesepagoda
core:japanesecrafter
core:japanesesamuraih
core:japanesequarry
core:japaneseforge
core:japaneselookout
core:japanesekitchen
core:bath
//to be built after the core ones
secondary:japanesearchive
secondary:japanesezen
secondary:japaneseinn
secondary:japanesemarket
secondary:japanesearmyforge
secondary:well
//not to be built
never:japanesefort
never:japanesefarmbig
never:japaneseshintoshrine
Update: I increased the village radius, and sure enough they did build a second Imperial Office. Inside a Rich Woman resides and now my village is all confused for which Office they should go to with resources. They have made this train exchanging resources back and forth that is highly annoying. If resources are not claimed for a construction, they become part of this never ending cycle.
Also: Merchants still seem to have issues interacting with the player in the Japanese, Mayan, and Byzantine cultures (i assume Norman and HIndi as well).

Everything that is not under never shows up in the extra buildings list now I've noticed.
A work-around until it gets fixed would be to set the maximum amount of town centers and other buildings you don't want more than 1 of to 1 (you have to edit each building file)
I've only developed Norman and Byzantine villages lately, but the merchants there are buggy as well (the whole Byzantine culture needs a lot of QCing)
And one village won't buy glass or stone they need from me, but they will buy iron from me. Are they just cheapskates?
Running Millénaire 4.1.8.
Yes.
The chunkloaders count as people, they keep the chunks loaded all the time.
The FAQ's solution didn't work?
Yes.
Well there is your problem right there.
The FAQ's solution didn't work?

- I'm playing in creative and trying to just put 64 blocks in my inventory however it never lets me? Is there a way to fix this? Driving me nuts.
i checked the FAQ's, but i didn't found something that can help me to fix the problem :s

--- END ERROR REPORT a852f63b ----------
The problems I keep having with this mod, combined with the sheer amount of resources it hogs, makes it pretty much unplayable for me. Really sucks because I really like the mod, when I'm able to play it.
Whichever is updated for 1.4.7, I'll check. It's version 4.1.3.
My villagers are just walking around within the boundaries of the village, and their signs say nothing. Only their titles show; they don't say anything, and they don't have personal obectives (E.g. "[Taking resources from home]").
Try not to use any patchers. You may just have to stick with the vanilla textures, or at least stick with 16x texturepacks.
My mistake, the one I was thinking of was for how to get tiles, try this one instead.
http://millenaire.or..._a_Carpenter.21
Oh, looks like it was one of the ones removed when the FAQ was cleaned up a year or so ago...
Anyways the fix it listed was to reinstall, so delete EVERYTHING except your world files (this includes all versions of Java on your computer), then reinstall it all back on (only one version of Java though), and try that.
It could be a conflict with optifine, yes.
There is your problem, update to 4.1.8
Please don't triple post, I am fairly sure double posting is against the rules so triple posting would be even worse.
player.me/felinoel
Did you try the solution I talked about to be sure it actually is an optifine problem?
player.me/felinoel
There seems to be a ton of derpiness that wasn't there in the 1.2.5 versions performance may have sucked but it was a lot less buggy.
today i'm going to re-install the game and the mods, and if that doesn't work, i'll post the issue in the bug report. And anyways there's a new version of optifine that isn't relased yet (it's a preview), and when its relased i'll test and see if the error persist.
