Just had a crash, it happened in 2.4 last night, I just upgraded to 2.5 - same world and same crash.
I have a village scroll (Norman bourg) and when I right click to look at it I get the old "saving chunks" - but MagicLauncher graciously presents the following:
java.lang.NullPointerException
at MLVillagerRecord.getGameOccupation(MLVillagerRecord.java:242)
at MLTileEntityPanel.generateEtatCivil(MLTileEntityPanel.java:208)
at MLItemParchment.displayVillageBook(MLItemParchment.java:186)
at MLItemParchment.a(MLItemParchment.java:220)
at aan.a(SourceFile:98)
at ki.a(PlayerController.java:77)
at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.c(Minecraft.java:1401)
Hope that helps making this awesome mod even more awesome.
I didn't upgrade minecraft to 1.2.5 - Still at 1.2.4. I upgraded millenaire to 2.5. Is Millenaire compatible with 1.2.5 already?
Anyway, tried the #68 of forge but it didn't make a difference.
That NullPointerException in the log is actually a pretty good indication of what is wrong, probably some corrupted data and when Millenaire tries to read what occupation a villager has it gets taken by surprise. The same crash happens if I go to the Chevaliers fortress and look at the board there.
Sorry. I've been seeing the error since 1.2.5 so often it's almost a kneejerk reflex to spout it out. It would be in your best interest to try installing it on a fresh, 'test' jar without MagicLauncher. The thing is notorious for doing unpredictable things to a mod's functionality.
- Built for 1.2.5 - Translations for the Hall of Fame signs - Fixed bug where goods requiring a high reputation could not be purchased from other buildings than town halls (example: Norman weapons from the armoury) - Fix for Indian inn not getting built properly - Fix for incorrect direction labels in other languages than English (requires update by translators)

MIllenaire Mod seems to be buggy as hell. I have 2 new Problems.
The Japanese tripe I have is not building "Ike Pond" It says no enoth space. I got rid of all the water and covered/filled caves. I even destroyed the "giant plot" where the player can build something. They say you can do something with the configs,u but n thank yo..
Second problem is...in one of the Buildings there are like 10 kids from the Japs and 2 from the Hindus jumping in one corner. All saying moving in. I tried to smack them out but it dident work
Could anyone link me to the 1.2.4 version please (or tell me which version was 1.2.4 between 2.4.6 and 2.5.1 =), the download link seems to have disappeared from the download page? Thanks.
How to deal with ignorance (in life, and on forums): The Zen way... Stay cool and polite, treat people as you wish to be treated, rise above your impatience. Everyone is ignorant of something at any point in their lives, including you.
Mo' Creatures has not yet been updated to work with Minecraft 1.2.3. Mo' Creatures is not compatible with any Minecraft 1.2.3 mod.
Second question, is the above still true for both mods at version 1.2.4 (am not upgrading to 1.2.5 until Mo'C is as well)?
I am specifically wondering if villagers will defend themselves from Mo'Creatures ogres, and if they'll repair their structures after ogres damage them.

for some reason there arent any villagers spawning in mine....the villages themselves spawn just fine but when i look around in the buildings there arent any villagers, as well the signs on the walls are blank...no text at all, anyone know how i can fix this?

I am afraid to tell you that there never will be any villagers. Was this a village you tried to spawn?
Also: some good news - we are remaking a crabs mod, centred around a mob that spawns in ocean biomes. A Millenaire-friendly version is being contemplated, whereby the crabs will also drop Millenaire-based items. Enjoy hunting giant crabs for an elusive Summoning Wand!
If you're looking for the "mods" folder in .minecraft, you'll need to start up Minecraft itself once. The folder won't be created unless you do. I hope that's what you're looking for, it was a great source of confusion for me for awhile, too!
I mean, the installer tells me to locate and select the ModLoader.zip archive, and I don't know where that is. Are you saying if ModLoader is installed correctly, the archive would appear in the mods folder?
Since no one answered my post (from the looks of it) and it just updated 1.2.5, I'll try install everything again and see if textures don't disappear again with or without Forge.
Hey guys, got an error in game now: "Error when trying to load building: Check Millenaire.log"
First: I'm using Yogbox on a reasonably fast computer with 4GB ram and a good video card.
I was exploring near the village currently being blessed by my presence and my game froze. I waited, then minecraft told me that it had run out of memory and it died. ( Not a crash, I was just told that it had to close )
When I restarted there was a hall of fame there. ( damn that thing's big )
Nearby is also a Better Dungeons... dungeon. They don't seem to be touching, there is about 20 blocks between them so I don't think thats the problem... ( I don't know )
I've just recently noticed that I'm getting that error when i load the world or use a Thaumcraft 2 portal in the normal world ( or a portal from the Nether )
My millenaire.log at the time of the crash:

Victory dance cat?
Thank you.
Nice! Thank you Kinniken. Especially for the armorer bug fix, as that was pretty annoying.
Wanna enlighten us on why?
Let me be clearer
Why not? If you're truly, honestly out of space, expanding the town radius is your only option, next to burning half of it down.
Could anyone link me to the 1.2.4 version please (or tell me which version was 1.2.4 between 2.4.6 and 2.5.1 =), the download link seems to have disappeared from the download page? Thanks.N/m found the version history!

The same with foodstuffs and potions, too.

This problem happened before. When we first add my Japanese skins. Texture file size didn't match with model size.
You need to remove the buildings info in the village info text file. I think that how it works for full deleting buildings.
Crafting Building
Fishing Pond
Farming Village Center

Full log here.
None of this seems to break my game though, and the pantheon is still there.
I also get these two a lot, not sure if thats an issue:
Any ideas ? on how to fix this ?
Anyway, fantastic mod. I play it to death ( mine ).
Thanks for putting so much time into making it for us, all who were involved.
We want to fix our bugs first than other people's bugs.
