Maybe of interest to people who use custom minimaps.
Anyway I use Rei's Minimap and he has just updated it to v2.3 The good thing about this update is that he has listened to everyone and now you have a config option to have the map as sunrise = north or sunrise = east, which is great

">2011-10-07_14.43.50.png" width="" height="" alt="" />Does this work?I'm kinda new to the site, and this is the first pic I've tried to post.if this hasn't worked I don't know how to tick the picture in the post.
Plus, I haven't explored much beyond my village and I didn't want the strange chunks you get with 1.7.3 connecting to 1.8 terrain.
Hope that makes sense.
No snow in 1.8... are you sure?
The world will be fine, if you don't believe me then back up your jar and saves and try it?
Try the volcano add-on for the Imaginations pack! There is a surprise inside!
It is currently spawnable though once it is in the pack it will be set to be only a random encounter. When spawning use the village wand on a grass block and be prepared to die as the volcano is not made to be spawned by a village wand and you will spawn inside the volcano.
Also there is a sneak peak of the Inuit culture in there too, spawn it with a village wand and a dirt block. Don't worry, the building will be easily destroyed and also note that this is just how the buildings will look before any upgrades.
So as long as I am getting the V key response everything is installed correctly then? Even if it doesn't find anything? Also I am looking everywhere on the map. Corner to corner
Are you looking on a map you generated before you added this mod or are you wandering to parts you have never explored before? I think you need to generate new land to have the buildings appear...

Yes you do, that was why I told him to head in one direction until he finds a village.

I'll apoligize yup front if I don't quite understand what you're saying.
1.9mil? So, just under 2 megs? no big whoop it is an installer.
But, I'm gunna skip everything else and say go back to the download page, and know there are two different links you need to download for the mod --- the installer that's in the middle of the page, then down at the bottom is the actual mod. So, just like you had before - which by this point you might have to reinstall minecraft(OC) then get the mod loader - then download the installer and the mod pack located at the bottom of the page.
The reason I say you might have to reinstall the original M.C. is because sometimes that meta inf(you can check to see if the installer did it's job by going to your run menu typing %appdata% - press enter/ then you'll see .minecraft - double click the bin folder if the above file is located in there it won't let you manual delete or atleast it didn't let me and I had to reinstall everything) or whatever the heck the file was called will become corrupt and it won't actually delete it.
Ugh.. last post got lost in cyberspace. Let's try this again.
I can't find a village. I HAVE found a lone farm with two NPCs. I sold them a butt-ton of cobble and they did nothing with it. I ran for over three hours last night spamming 'v' and found nothing. Am I missing some key bit of knowledge about how to find them, or are they simply not spawning?
Help?

Cure for 'Summertime Blues' found! Entails painful injections to scrotum.
Sure is hard to make a nice-looking volcano in minecraft...
Question, is it possible to spawn wolves that have allegiance to these NPCs? A trusty canine companion for that lone woodcutter? That might require making a whole new mob, which I suspect is beyond the scope of this mod...
WTF, the population is bugged, tried to generate another world, still the same, they're breeding like rabbits and when it says that the population is 23 it is actually about 1-2 hundreds OMG!!! Causes lags =/
Absolutely amazing mod. I've run into some significant lag issues. Just lag spikes, not a total slowdown. I know you are supposed to leave your villages and return to fix this problem but this has not helped me. I moved over 1000 k away from them, so they were both frozen, and the lag persisted out in the wild. After some reading it seems that this is a common problem with MC, but is there another way to solve it? I also tried installing the OptiFine mod but it looks like it's incompatible with Mille.

2) my real problem: left my world running for 2 hours while being AFK, returned, found mc unresponsive... or so i thought, minecraft is now running at 0,1 fps and well obviously i cant do ANYTHING with that. it took me like a minute to move 4 blocks forward and turn the camera 90 degrees. is there any way to fix this or do I have to delete that save and start over (which would ****ing suck)?
I think its because of uncontrollable population, had the same problem, had to start a new game =/

Does starting a new game solve the problem, or just put it off till a later date?

i think the placement for beds in the player bought housing needs to be revised, whenever i sleep in the original place it was monsters always spawn when you try to sleep.

That happens if you place your bed next to the wall of your home. Leave a space between the wall and bed or put a block between and you'll be fine.... until the lag makes you quit playing X(

Download at the link above, having the Imaginations pack is required for the volcano to work.

I believe so, yes.
Cool, I'll wait for the next Yogbox update before I update though, not too big a deal
I thought 64 computers can run 32 programs?
Are you using the installation guide on the site?
