Yep or some other nasty thing, btw the Watermelon mod is not part of this scam from the looks of it(no .exe files). Next time mate don't be so melodramatic by pronouncing all similar mods as being part of this.
Please edit your post so that it states the proof and remove watermelon mod and Monster energy drink from the list of suspicious mods.

viruses hide in your system32 which is a file that your computer cant work with out witch allows the virus to program the computer to download more viruses or steal your info

After looking through the MonsterCraft download and decompiling the code I can confirm it is a LEGIT DOWNLOAD
and you can prove this how?
1. I have so much anti-virus **** that its not even funny
2. Real my post.. I decompiled EVERYTHING im a modder and I know basic java and looking through it I have confirmed that it is legit
Download the watermelon mod yourself, being a .zip its unlikely to cause problems(unless you extract and run it) so you can see its got no .exe in it like the rope mod copy. Also the watermelon mod author has a decent amount of posts unlike the seven from the other one. There are plenty of similar mods around, its a bit unfair to label them all as being dodgy.

can you prove otherwise? just because there is a copy doesn't mean it is a password stealer, take example all the mods that add ores or mobs, do they steal your password? i mean some mob mods have humans in them, do one of them steal your password? no, so dont accuse mods of being password stealing unless you have proof such as the rope one
