Yea, it's come to my attention that i used the same model as a cow, but i've gotten more modeling experience since then so later mobs I intend on making will have custom models.

Btw, yaks ARE brown and have that shape(ish). Just sayin :tongue.gif:

I think they're cute. Cute little red cows XD

this mod would be a little more appealing if you could make them Pack yaks, but I like it either way. It's an adorable mod :3
And now I don't have to run around at night getting blown up by creepers trying to get bones!

At first i was like,"Red wtf??" but I see where you're coming from now lol

also can you please go into depth by what you mean by 'pack yaks'? like yaks that can hold inventory?

Yeah! Give the Yak some apples or something, so I likes you, and then stick a chest on it to hold an inventory. Maybe make it possible to attach Chests to saddles or something to make it a bit more rare. And then it would follow you with an inventory. :3
Or ride able. I 'm not sure of your mod-making level.

Yes. Add the chest carrying, and this will be worth the download.

Well my 'Mod-Level' isn't super high, but I grasp basic concepts.

I'm sure I can make them have backpack and stuff after looking through the forums, it'll just take a long time lol.
Also i get most of my modding done on weekends and since today's Sunday that's even less work time, but do not fret, i'm sure one day it shall happen :biggrin.gif:

minecraft crashes when i open it. it stops at the mojang screen. i deleted meta inf and added modloader and audiomod.

try redownloading modloader 5 from risugami's page, I think he made a slight update of it but didn't release a new version

i redownloaded everything but it doesnt work game still crahes after majong screen. other mods work though.

why not if you kill a yak, it will drop 1-2 yak hide (not normal cow hide) and make a yak leather armor out of it??? just an idea, cool mod tho. :3

well i contemplated doing that, but first off it would have to be only a slight bit better than reg leather, plus with all the new "fish armor" or "black diamond" mods coming out it seems a bit unneccesary for me to make yet another armor set.
