Agree. I think, recolouring for tent is useless. Tent is an utility thing, there is no place for beauty in a situation when you must to protect your life in wilderness. And Block IDs are hardly limited too...

2. Implent campfire and some more things.

If you don't want a million block iD's I'm no modder, but you could make an option of what color wool is used to make the tent (like right click tent block, check an option for "make red tent" and it uses red wool instead of plain white).
Just an idea that I have no idea how to implement

Tent Mod
Recipe
At the moment the image is a smooth stone but i shall be updating the image in the next update
How to use Tent
Place the tent block anywhere you like on the ground.
Then left click on the block and the tent will build, it will also delete 6 blocks around the tent block so be careful when placing it down.
Inside the tent their is a chest,workstation and a furnace for when exploring and need to store items or build an item on the go.
Inside the chest is a bed and 8 wool for when its night and can sleep and block the entrance so mobs don't get in , i had few problems with the code to place the bed on the ground was only placing half a bed, I'll keep trying to fix it so for time being you'll need to place your own bed

Fixing the bed so it would be built in the middle of the tent at the same time as the tent is built.
Going to add option to change colour with all the types of wool so it looks more pretty

Fixing bugs if anyone find bugs.

added torches inside the tent so mobs dont spawn inside.

added a properties file so its compatible with other mods and in future when i add more block id easy to edit :smile.gif:

Backup your minecraft.jar and save worlds just in case
Delete META-INF file inside your minecraft.jar file if you haven't already done so

you should make it so if you put a wooden door on the top corners you get a fully enclosed tent with doors. that would be really cool. if you added that than i would download it.

How about different types of tents! like your tent would be "Basic" tent but with out the torches, then "name pending" tent(lol I don't know a name :tongue.gif: ):

Where = basic tent, = bed
Which would be double wide, have a post in the middle, torches, another bed, and a double chest. Then a King's tent:
= King's tent
Where: =stairs with a sign on each side AKA chair, =other tent
It would be the best, as you step up into it, with the book shelf, alot of room, more boxy and only has one way in, a chair, two beds, and it is more like a house made of wool than a tent.
