So this gets rid of cobblestone steps completely?
If so, i will probably skip up this mod.
however if it adds a new stair type, i might download.
I like the option between cobblestone and stone, and not be stuck with just one or the other. :smile.gif:

ARHGGG I have spent the past three hours trying to do this but when I placed the stairs the game would crash mind helping me out and telling me how you did it? this would have been my first mod. I have it so when you craft the different stairs your get them in your inventory but when I place them the game crashes...

ah sry m8 lol, been a project I've been meaning to do for a while now but glad other people was thinking about the idea. what block ID was you useing. if you was outside of the array without more ID installed that would cause game to crash when placeing the blocks.
it is if you dont use more block ID mod, by default minecraft can only go to 127 and many mods use those id's already, which is why i chose to use the more block ID mod and used 200-209
AWSOME!!! thanks I just modded my first ever block in minecraft you beat me to it but i actually did it I just changed to id 96
well now I need to think of something someone hasnt done =)

Well time to get some shut eye, pls feel free to try it out let me know if you have any problems, conflicts or suggestions. tested it out with fresh minecraft.jar with modloader and moreblockID didn't find any bugs or glitches.
this is the third mod that adds new stairs to minecraft but currently the only mod released that works with modloader 5 and also the only one that adds obsidian, diamond stairs to the game
i congratulate you! good job!
p.s: i would like you to re-add cobblestone stairs though... they can be useful!
AND SANDSTONE!
ah cobblestone is still there, that was only when i first released a sample of what i was going to be working on. but all is well now :smile.gif:
