Well damn, I rendered the video using the wrong settings. I was wondering why the render time was only an hour... Re-rendering the video using the correct settings. Estimated Render time ~8 hours (DEAR LORD)
EDIT: Did it wrong AGAIN. Well, I should have it right this time, and it shouldn't take quite as long to render as long as I'm not using my computer too much...
does any one know if this mod is compatable with mo creatures????
It does but...
You guys know that you could just try and see right? That's how people find out if it will work: by just trying. I've had mods not work with others before; it's not going to be the end of the world. Alternatively you could look back a page or two and see three other people asking the same question.
Sorry if that came off agitated or anything I understand you want to see if it'll work without putting work in for nothing, but it doesn't make a lot of sense to me, and I'd like to see more people making an effort.
I don't know if it's just my computer or something, but the Evolved Blue Dragon makes my computer super laggy when I face the camera towards it. Also, the swords are really buggy like everyone else is saying.
Ok
FINNALY I HAVE GOT A DRAGON IN MY WORLD!
But I got a fue bugs to report *sorry if theres have already been found out*
1. I think it is biome related, in my desert bimond there are absalutly none, even if i stay the whole mc 24hours there. But if im in like a turndra(sorry about spelling) there are absalutly millions of them.
2. When the blue dragon evolves it wont kill anything that isnt in an atleast 3x3 space.
1. Green dragons should spawn on sand mostly only. I'll have to test some more S:
2. This is probably another bug with the sword. I'm fixing it now
Try re adding the sounds in. Remember to put the whole folder called mod into resources.

I have a few bugs too...also don't know if reported:
1. Blue dragon evolves - cannot shoot arrows while on it.
2. Blue dragon evolves - those wings...flap so fast...my eyes..pain.. D:
Another idea, maybe create some food that prevents evolving? I like my dragon small, that's why I'm keeping the green one now ._.
Working on the wings lol. You probably can't shoot arrows because the dragon's head is a bit tall. I'm not sure tho.
I was already planning that; soon you can feed your dragon milk to stop it from evolving.

Here's a banner i made because i wanna help support this mod
Thanks! :smile.gif: I'll put it with the other one.

Ugh...I know you have a ton of other people to help and a lot of content to add, but I want to keep my green dragon and not have my game freeze up every 30 seconds...Have any solutions been found? Even just a way to prevent the evolved dragon from spawning? Please? I'm desperate here!
I don't know why dragons freeze the game. It works fine for me :\ I gotta look harder.

THe model for tihs mod seems to conflict with More Creeps and Weirdos models. Could you possibly change that?
The model? What exactly do you mean? Does More Creeps and Weirdos use a model class called ModelDragon too?

The Evolved Blue Dragon's wings shading is messed up. One wing is super bright.
BTW, it works perfectly with modloader V4.
Yes, I think I have done something to make it more normal.
Oh and for compatibility, I'm running Minecraft with:
Dragons
Mo Creatures
SDK's Guns,Grappling Hook, and Utilities V5
TooManyItems
Single Player Commands
Builders
Humans+
And I think that's it, might have to check later. But yeah, my game runs fine with all of those on.
Thanks for the update, but I tested the mod on another computer today, and an exact duplicate of my .minecraft folder didn't cause the crash whenever an E2 dragon spawned. My new theory is that the problem is my computer, not the mod. Still gonna test the update though...
Edit: It crashed...The problem is definitely my computer.

If missing a deadline makes you a bad person, then Notch must be Satan himself.
You, sir, are awesome.
On the fire breathing thing, I know it would be very hard to script, but maybe you could "feed" a tamed Dragon a piece of coal, and it would set things on fire as it hit them.
And on campadibility, this works fine with Portal Guns and Kodachi's Two Insects.
(Having a flying mount and advanced tecnology help a crapload trying to deal with Brood Maidens.)

Gamers. Whether thou be a troll or a modder, a complimentor or a criticizer, we may all come together to consecutively, and completely accurately, post the lyrics to the song "Still Alive".
When I got this mod it was really fun, but from time to time the screen would just turn black, and stay black. When this happens I have to exit minecraft and try again. is there anything I can do to fix this?
I think this is a great mod, but i have a few recommendations if you may...
1. make the riding and the flying faster
2. make more color dragons
3. make dragon scale tools
4. make a saddle for the dragon and a craft able saddle
5. make them attack aggresive mobs as if they were passive mobs
Hey man i know your porobably getting overwhelmed with requests so feel free to overlook this one.
My request is that when you finish a new type of dragon could you just update the mod with that dragon instead of compiling many dragons and uploading them all at once.
And if you dont want to do that could you atleast send me the dragon so that i can make videos for youtube showcasing the upcoming dragons.I will make a youtube acount specificly for this mod.
Wow you really did add the textures to the original! I'm honored.
I loved that you made it so that feeding them also counts for exp gain. I tested it out with the cheat console it seemed to help but it took huge amounts of pork atleast and I got bored after spamming over 500+ pieces. Eventually just spawned some pigs, it took less to trigger the evolution then before, but it still seems like having them kill stuff is faster then feeding them unless you got a lot of scraps.
For compatibility:
Fairy Mod the wild dragons don't attack them.
Baby Animals the wild ones do eat them though and I think the other two mentioned below.
Quintessential Turtle
WTFisaNeko
Pet Mod/NM Mode Didn't appear to like the dragons last I looked.
You might want to personally try these before just going with what I say. =p
Also anyone experiencing problems with black screens and such it must either be the way you installed or your computer at this point.
Nice new update. But here's my list of problems and suggestions. PROBLEMS
(In order of importance)
Tamed dragons still respawn.
-To fix, just use the code for Mo'Creatures horse.
Tamed dragons will not evolve or attack animals, no matter what.
-Something in the milk-not-evolving-code must have goofed them.
Dragons still spawn WAY too much, especially regular green and blue.
-Maybe it's Mo'Creatures mod making them spawn a bit over the intended amount, but either way they should be a lot rarer (like 200%.) Once you fix the despawning issue they should be a rare prize, not "oh look another dragon.."
The blue dragon's wings STILL flap too fast.
-They're now reduced to a butterfly's speed instead of a hummingbird's XD Such a huge and powerful dragon would only need to flap its wings a few times per minute. Please change this, it's the most annoying thing ever and ruins flying on the big blue.
All dragons' wings are screwed up now.
-Instead of the wing on the evolved blue being too bright, now all dragon's left wings are too dark.
SUGGESTIONS
(Not in any order)
Dragons should get new sounds, especially the Green.
-Their original sounds make them seem like an overgrown stupid cow. The only dragon that would possibly fit those sounds is the evolved blue, which you've already given its own set of noises. I can help you find the sound effects if you like.
More kinds, and behaviors, of dragons.
-Basically what I sent to you in that huge PM. Could you please respond to that with what you liked or wanted to change, and possibly even which of those to try next? I wouldn't bug you if you didn't say you meant to send something a while back.
More dragon movement control.
-Right clicking your tamed dragon with maybe 10 string will bind that dragon to the spot. Right clicking again will give you 10 string back and allow it to move again. Or just make a craftable item with an iron weight and some string.
Dragon attacks.
-Maybe right clicking at a mob's direction with some kind of Horn crafted out of bone would cause the dragon to attack it when dismounted. While mounted, left clicking with nothing in your hand will cause the dragon to use a weak melee attack. Hold this button down for a slightly more powerful attack that has a bit of a cooldown.
When more dragon types and fire are implemented, holding C will cause certain dragons to breathe fire for a short amount of time.
I hope you consider this new batch of suggestions! Congratulations on making such an awesome and successful mod.
Not sure about the respawning thing, but I know for a fact the blues still evolve like they should, for attacking did you smack them with a dragon scale sword?
EDIT: Did it wrong AGAIN. Well, I should have it right this time, and it shouldn't take quite as long to render as long as I'm not using my computer too much...
