Back by popular demand - an index thread for my mods!
The biggest collection of Kodaichi's mods on the entire forum.
About this Archive: Since I like to keep my mods in their individual threads because they vary so much from each other, I'm sometimes asked to create an index thread to make it easy for people to find all of my mods. Now that we lack a search feature, this is becoming even more the case. So to cope with the forum's current situation, I've created a new archive thread linking to all of my currently up-to-date mods. With a setup like this, there's no doubt that the thread coverage will lead to guaranteed maximization of views and a very swift rise to domination of the entire forums. Only time will tell if my genius plans will actually pull through. For now, just check out the various mods I have on display.
Reccommended Mods (made specifically to improve the game):
Two More Insects (latest addition)
Another double release, this mod contains Brood Maidens and giant flies. Brood Maidens are a boss mob that spawns at night, has a lot of HP, produces loyal insect followers, and also has a backstory. Giant flies are a docile mob that spawns during the day, makes annoying noises, drops flint or leather, and sometimes muches on animals. Included as well are sound effects, texture files, a new cool weapon, creativity and confusion. There's a lot of gameplay to be had in this mod, and the limit of the player's abilities will be tested. The choice you'll have to make is whether or not the Brood Maiden is hotter than she is frightening.

Female Companion, Charlotte
Charlotte is a little bit dopey, kind of loud, and a bit high-maintenance, but there's not too many companions out there as helpful as she is. She'll carry weapons for you, fight for you with swords, heal you, and even warn you of nearby danger. She'll follow you to the ends of the earth, and happily sit on your shoulders as you embark on a grand journey. Just be careful to keep both her and yourself alive. Current version is optimized and has a lot of glitches related to the amount you get at spawn time, but she still functions like a proper companion.

Fairy Mod
The Fairy Mod has a little something for everyone - while apprearing cute on the outside, the fairies have a very advanced group-oriented AI and change their attitude depending on how you treat them. If you give them flowers they will follow you and be your friend, but if you attack them, all nearby fairies will group up on you and give you one of the harshest beatings you will ever recieve. They can be both a blessing and a curse depending on your style of play, but are harmless as long as you don't slip up and smack one. The Queens have a different personality than the rest of the fairies and serve to make things even more interesting.

Fatal Beauty, Succubus
The Succubus takes a bold step away from the survival aspect of the game and makes the player really think for a minute about whether or not they'd like to die. In the case of the Succubus, you'll likely "die smiling" as she drains the life out of your body after enticing you with her alluring charms. Being a demon, she has a higher authority over other monsters and can easily get alone with your player. Her attack is also quite different than the rest of the monsters, and she can even slow down the player and force the player to look in her direction. The reward for defeating her is sweet however, earning the player a nice new sword and some well-deserved HP. The Nether also has its own counterparts. This mod is certain to light up the night in your Minecraft world.

"Neko" Cat Mobs
Originally intended to be a joke, I accidentally put too much effort into this cat/catgirl mob and it turned into something that people actually enjoyed. Cats are found in nature and partially aggressive towards the player, but through a steady diet of pure fresh cow's milk, their relationship with you will grow and flourish. As they begin to like you more, your connection becomes clearer through the use of onscreen statistics and they will fight enemies for you as well as follow you around. They aren't the best travelling companions though, simply because they are distracted much, much too easily, often leading to their tragic demise.

Brain-Eating Pink Slimes
These were made back in a time when slimes only existed theoretically, so I decided to give people a little taste of the squashy monsters without destroying the delicate fabric of the game. These slimes are much different than the regular slimes in that they only spawn on beaches, and they attach themselves to the player's head to attack. Little slimes are still harmless, so a player can wear one as a hat. In addition, brain slimes stack on top of each other instinctually to deal more damage output, so a large collection of brain slimes can lead to the formation of an incredibly awesome hat. Just be careful that they don't suck you dry - their pouncing attack is fierce and they will follow you relentlessly.

Whirlwinds and MinerTrivia
Two mods released at the same time in the same thread. The whirlwinds are a strange entity added to plains and desert areas in the regular world. They can materialize and dematerialize randomly, and also have a tendency to pull random items out of the ground - mostly common, but sometimes valuable. Be careful though, besause anything caught in its winds will be spun around and hurled out in a random direction, dealing a bit of damage from the fall. MinerTrivia is a quick-tip style thing added to the savign and loading screen. It contains 50 uncommon bits of advice, and adds a little bit of life into the game in a place where it is lacking - instructions.

Silly Mods (made just for fun):
Rana Mod
A gift to all of the Rana fans, this mod started out as a polygon/model complexity test and grew into something slightly useful. It attempts to mimic the original Rana mod in the closest way possible, while implementing the new string teather feature just so players can have some fun with the useless mob. It's important that you realize what this mod is supposed to accomplish before you think about downloading it. Rana was originally an incomplete mob that got scrapped, so she remains incomplete in the remake I produced. It's in the silly mods section for a reason.

Fully Controllable Pig Mounts
While some could argue that the game should have had fully controllable pigs from the start, this mod does far more than you would expect. Besides being controllable by the player, this also lets monster mount pigs, and even better, allows towers of pigs to be ridden. Various funny things can results from riding your giant pig towers, and more pigs make it harder to control. One pig is fine though, and it's enough to help you have that fantasy creeper pig race you've always dreamed of.

Also, if you'd like to support me in a way other than just asking for more mods, then you can put this banner in your signature:
No, the old one's still dead and shrivelling up somewhere. Hopefully people won't bump it anymore and realize that this is the true thread that they want to see.

I know Freak updated them, but might as well put all your creations in one place
now if you will do spider families, my kodiachi set will be complete(for now)
curious what your new project might be
or is all your modding time going into the aether mod??
btw- I am still curious what you plan on studying in college
good work, and hope you are doing well
I'll just save myself some time and rip up a PM from a couple of days ago:

ohh ok thank you do you make mods any more? if you do and if your not to busy can you make a minisub mod?
I'm still actively making mods but I am not taking requests, I have my hands full with my own ideas. And I try not to make anything that's been suggested so I can surprise people.
The first is a giant fly and the other is called a Brood Maiden. They're both part of an insect mod. As you can guess, the Brood Maiden is a boss mob that has control over insects. You can expect it to be a very interesting and unique fight.
As you can see, I'm not ready to give away too much detail about my next project. All that I really revealed to him was that it wasn't a minisub, so really I could be working on anything. It's best to keep your eyes out for any mod-related posts I happen to post.
And I'm taking Computer Science in university. Nothing I've done in school is as fun as making Minecraft mods though.
Most of them should, but some people blame a glitch with the fairies on V5. I don't have any proof of this, but it apparently just stops them from spawning.

And sorry for such a n00b-ish question, but what exactly IS a minisub? I've never heard of it before.
Oh, and nice new avatar (your old one kept reminding me of my disastrous attempts to get Garry's Mod to work).

Also, nice to see that you are working on some new mobs.
