yeah, the gun works fine with blue/orange and reset, just using the spawner would crash the game. I tested this w/o the Forge and spawner worked fine. Installed the Forge w/o any other mods besides the required mods for the portal gun mod and the apawner would crash saving chunks.
I'm having a little trouble. I went out on an adventure looking for oil, placing an orange portal in my base. I went a distance away, and placed a blue portal so I could check on my engines. As I went through the orange portal, the blue one disappeared, and then my game said "Saving Chunks" It didn't say it crashed, or anything, just saving chunks then a black screen. Does anyone know what's going on?
I'm not sure if this is the right info, there's hundreds of lines of code in the cmd program i used to run java, let me know if you need that to assist me.
It seems like it has trouble teleporting over very large distances (1500 blocks). I get through the teleporter just fine and I see the other side, but then it crashes out. This time I crashed out while trying to replace the portal after it disappeared. Maybe it is a chunk loading issue? Doesnt make sense though, cause I was moving around on the other side..

I noticed the portal spawner bug few minutes ago. Then I found out there is a new version of portal gun, going through all the ad websites until Wupload which doesn't want to let me download it - on first try it said I don't have permission to link directly to their files o.O, now it only says me that I can only download one file at a time, I am not downloading anything. Could you just link through adf.ly to mediafire or something smilar or is the money you earn from adf.ly not enough? I would also donate just to lose that cocksucking ad websites.
Next I have an idea, don't know if it's possible but yes...
Know the issue "Jumps down at high speed into a portal doesn't work very well.", what about to make the blocks portals are on lose collision? I guess it would work, because it only does not work because the game asks player if he reached an collision-block before the mod asks if he reached portal. Maybe if portal would change the block(s) it is placed on to non-collision block would fix it? I don't know, could you give it a try?
Next, what about to make the antique cube from portal 2? You'll just have to make a new damage value for the already made weighted storage cube. Here how the cube looks like:

hey this mod looks cool and all but, Risugami's modloader and Flan's modloader MP don't work together. Every time I install both, the game crashes. maybe I'm just doing something wrong. :dry.gif:
Firing a portal of the same color as an activated spawner causes the weird bug where the portal spawner glitches and attempts to.. "rearrange" itself by flipping towards the ceiling and generally breaking.
If I could recall how to view my crash log on a Mac, I'd post the log for the saving chunks crash. But I completely forget.

iChun, to get spawners working I refer you to my earlier post with the "patch" against v1. There's a lot of stuff thats got hacked around in 1.8.1 so the entities get cleaned out- you can't just assume that a TileEntity will automatically work again when you replace the block it's for to the old location.
If you believe this is because of forge, I don't think forge changed this particular part of the code, at least it doesn't show as being changed between 1.8.1 vanilla and 1.8.1+forge that I can tell?
Anyway, the problem people are seeing now with spawners are what you get when you just try and replace the spawner back again- the TileEntity has actually been reset (because that was my first try at fixing this problem too).

If you believe this is because of forge, I don't think forge changed this particular part of the code, at least it doesn't show as being changed between 1.8.1 vanilla and 1.8.1+forge that I can tell?
Anyway, the problem people are seeing now with spawners are what you get when you just try and replace the spawner back again- the TileEntity has actually been reset (because that was my first try at fixing this problem too).
