Ok, people, MC mod center has been obviously updated, so wait til the weekend, when iChun will be back and he will fix the link.
I have compressed the files into a zip and here is the link (COMPLETLY SAFE, rest assure): -snip-
If you find ANYTHING suspisious, tell me, cause what i've done is to compress the extracted files into a new zip, nothing else, when iChun will fix the download i will remove this one.

I continue to black screen or the mod doesn't work when I install it. I've followed the video tutorial and the installation file in the mod. I have no meta-inf file. Mods I have running: Audiomod, Modloader, ModloaderMP, elevators, industrialcraft, single player commands, and too many items. I can't keep the error log up long enough to put it here, minecraft crashes before I can. Any ideas as to why it does so?
Edit: When I say it doesn't work, I mean that minecraft loads, but the mod doesn't work.
Edit: Nevermind, ran it in cmd line, conflicting block IDs.

you may have too many items on your computer delete some from your computer
this have happend to me just try =)
like delete progams like hmmmm a file you dont need NOT a minecraft file just some random **** you have on your computer

iChun I thought I had read a post on here before about how to make world specific unportable blocks. I tried changing the mod_PortalGun_world.properties line
unportalbleID=0
to
unportalbleID=49
and
worldOverride=0
to
worldOverride=1
but that didn't work. So then I tried it without
worldOverride=1
but it still didn't work. My map isn't playable without the unportable blocks because it makes it way too easy. Do you happen to know what's going on?

Alright, so I downloaded the mod and installed it the way the installation(.)txt said, but still it causes my MC to crash.
I've tried the different installations, but it doesn't work either. Also, I know it is the 1.7.3_Portalgun_v2(.)zip that is making it all crash, because it works without it. Please iChun, HELP! I want this mods, it's awesome! ^^
Are you running any other mods (aside from the necessary modloader and audiomod)?

There is something wrong with the properties. I posted something earlier about it when I used cmd to run minecraft. It said there was an error and I'm not sure if I understood it, but it looks like it made a new one or something. So nothing custom in the settings is working for me

Ah Ok. I'll just toss a regular mod_PortalGun.properties into my map then. That way people don't cheat and put portals on obsidian. Lol.
