when i shoot the first portal its fine but when i right chick to shoot the the other portal with the same gun it shoots the first portal, why is it doing that ???

I'm not trying either, I just made the observation that the last thing he posted here was this on 11 June 2013 - 04:41 PM and on his blog the mod had a minor update on September 2 which didn't change much [link]

are you using a dual portal gun?
umm sorry i dot know how to reply, i change the right and left IDs over so -100 & -99 logged back in went to shoot the portal and it shoot the other one tried right click but nothing...

It appears that iChun has abandoned this project because of how little time passes between MC updates (a problem with a lot of other mods).
I have not abandoned this project. It's slotted for revision for 1.7, so I'm not touching the current 1.6.X code till then.
Mind you I've a lot of other mods/projects I'm also involved in and I also have a life outside minecraft. I've stopped logging into the forums for a few months.
But for your sake I'll update the topic to state the mod's updated to 1.6.X (Which it has been for ages)

Press the "Quote" button to reply and the "MultiQuote" to reply to more than one person.
Try creating a creative world and see if you've got the same problem. If you do then reinstall the mod with out tampering with the code and see if the problem still exists. If it does then you might have some kind of ID conflict.

your portal gun mod is really great, but I have a lot ideas for it:
1. Please finish the Material Emancipation Grill,
2. Please add the Thermal Discouragement Beam and the Weighted Pivot Cube,
3. Please add the Panels and Chrusher.

I have been checking the status of the "not complete - don't use" items after every patch since I downloaded Portal Gun for 1.4.7. Really want those emancipation grills and discouragement beams.
Oh, and the (principal) config to go in .minecraft\config rather than in the save game. Its annoying, each game, to suddenly remember where I need to go to adjust sentry turrets to be friendly to players and neutral mobs.
help me ichun, please give me the direkt download link for ichun utils (last version) and portal gun mod (last version), i need it because when it opens adfly it says please wait but it dosn't say 5...4...3...2...1... skip add, it just says pleaseb wait so can you give me the link of the direkt download of this?
-Improved Defective Turret model-Replacing the Defective Turret lasers (With the oracle turret having a laser (But doesn`t shoot) and the defective turret not having one (Yet scanning is possible))

Can u add stuff that makes it more like Portal and Portal 2 Like GLaDOS And Wheatley And better textures like The Defective Turret having no shell rather than a Black shell. Just a suggestion.

very good mod for recreating portal in minecraft. perfect escape plan by leaving a portal at home and firing the other one when you are lost or need to escape.
