I know this probably isn't possible without editing the base code, or making an override code, but maybe make it to where instead of having these big headed baby animals, adult animals give birth to these instead? They would be untamed. And maybe implement the new breeding, but tamed animals have more of a chance for twins or triplets. I think this would be fun.
There is a chance for twins with my mod already :wink.gif: and you are right about needing to overwrite original code. If I figure out a way to do it that isn't too hacky, I'll release it as an alternate mod.

I don't like notches animals, and i love yours. Keep up the great work :smile.gif: - btw, instead of an alternate mod, just make it as like an addon you can drop into the jar.
I'm having some problems merging this mod with Better than Wolves. I know from past experience that the Hay Bale causes conflicts, so I changed its value in the properties file to 8449. However, I'm still experiencing errors.

When life gives you lemons, Throw them on the ground and go make apple juice instead.
Hmmph, I don't remember. How do you tame adult animals? I downloaded this mod, and I'm in a world I made a few hours ago. Do I have to create a new world for it to spawn the new animals?
These are absolutely adorable~ I would have loved it is the game's baby animals looked like these because the real ones just look wrong >:/ I mean they are just miniature versions with gigantic heads... what's up with that? lol...
Anyways I have no clue what's going on here now with it... when I first loaded it up all was well, other then a lack of seeing any babies, but when trying to install another mod(which failed) I deinstalled and then reinstalled everything and now my worlds are flooded with baby animals... and I mean there isn't a direction I can go or look without seeing at lest 2 babies...
I didn't do anything different from the first time, and though they are cute as all, that is just way too many to have running around... is there a way I can lessen the number, spawn rate, what have you?
Could you by any chance make a file that only adds your version of the baby animals into the game, so that when i breed two cows i'll get your super cute baby cow instead of Mojangs behemoth-headed cows :3?

When you go into your ".minecraft/mods" folder you should see another folder saying babyanimals. In that folder should be a notepad where when you open it should say somethings and at the bottom of it will have something like
"passive mob spawn = 45
(vanilla spawn is 15)" or something like that. All you have to do is lower it so they don't spawn as frequent as before. Hope that helps a bit.
I have a problem. For some reason none of the time things are working. For example; when I set the config file to say automatically turn the babies into adults after 4 days, it doesn't work. It's now been probably like 15 full days and nothing is happening. The other thing is when I give the adult tamed animals the miracle pill (or what ever that thing is with the cow in the middle is called) the don't have a baby. I was wondering if there's something that I have to do before it.
P.S. I do use a few mods so could that have an affect? Here are most of the mods that are on there; Better than wolves, Freerunner, Somnia (could this have an affect because of what it does?), mo' creatures, Coros's mods(nightmare and zombie awareness), Matmos, and that should be all of them. Much obliged for whoever helps me.

Thanks~ I might know how to load these, but I know nothing on how to edit them, lol...
Though I've set that to 1 now and my worlds are still flooded... there are more babies from this mod then there are vanillas and mobs from my Mo'Creatures mod combined... so either I did it wrong or there is something else I need to do to drop the number of them?

What are you arguing about?
Thank you for bringing these cute little guys back! :biggrin.gif:
