That was fixed a while ago. They also remember to keep following you when you log back in if they were doing so when you logged out and are smarter about it (they use the same pathfinding/teleportation as wolves.) You can still tell them to stop following you by right-clicking with an empty hand."
Thanks so much for your answer! I can't wait to try this awesome mod.
No, the calves are too tall, but they will all fit through a doorway with an opened door.

Have you tried installing Baby Animals first? Perhaps one of the other mods is not compatible with it and that is why your game is crashing. You have 2 other mods that affect the wolves, that might be it.

Do you think it would a good idea, and possible to make eggs spawn a baby chicken instead of regular wild chicken
They already do this...
Quote from Nintendofan333 »
Could you lower the spawn rate of the animals a little? My house is filled with puppies! o-o
With the deprecation of spawnlist I no longer have control over this. The spawn rate is Mojang default.

I Keep feeding my tamed animals seeds, but they wont follow me. They just run around aimlessly.
In the latest version, they follow you around the same way wolves do, so if you stop walking they will mill about until you start moving away from them again.

Awesome mod but i can´t feed them cake
They have to be tamed first.

Puppies spawn and they work fine... but passive mobs and babies have all disappeared. I can't find them anywhere. Any reason?
There could many reasons. I need more info like what other mods you're using.

I installed all the mods, everything seemed alright...what do I get? A few animals without any faces What's wrong?
Can you post a screen shot?

Updated the textures again.
I'll update the OP. Don't worry about what Canaday said, even though it doesn't get used right now, there is a good chance I'll have tame versions of all the babies' textures in the next update. I accidentally left it in the textures folder when I zipped up this version. It's not hurting anything being there.
In the download there is a file called rx.class. This is the class that contains the coding for eggs, which I have altered so that chicks come out instead of chickens. I even double-checked the ones I uploaded just to make sure. (Before Mojang's wolf update, it was rd.class) If you really want to try, take only the rx.class out of version 1.5 and try adding it to your jar. It hasn't changed since the last update so it should work.

(Different versions working/not working)
The only thing I can suggest is that you install one mod at a time, and try to run Minecraft after each mod is installed. This way, whichever mod is causing the problem will make itself apparent. Start with a clean minecraft.jar and add modloader, then audiomod, and then whatever else you are trying to use. These kinds of problems bother me because it works for many people just fine, but then for no reason some people get black screens.

All fixed, just needed to move mod folder from the resources root to the mods folder in resources. One more question, too...
I love my piglet, Lewis, to death. If I tame a wolf pup, will it attack my little piggy? I want one but if it'll kill Lewis, then no way :|
Hugs and 's!
Glad you got it working. Lewis will be fine, wild wolves only go after the wild adult sheep as Mojang intended, and tame wolves only attack things if you tell them to. Regardless, wild wolves won't ever attack any of the animals from my mod, because it is not in their programming to do so.
I'm have TooManyItems, and SinglePlayer Commands running apart from Baby Animals. I tried playing without those two and with just Baby Animals but passive mobs don't spawn and neither do the babies. I can throw eggs and get baby chickens, but that's it.

Yes; I've even tried installing it on a clean .jar with nothing else but ML and AM on it, and it still blackscreens. I've checked for Java updates too, but it appears to be up-to-date.

Are you able to spawn all of the different babies/tame adults using SSP commands? (I mean, do they show up in the game?) I have SSP commands installed and it works fine with this mod. The default spawn rate of passive mobs is a really low number, just 15. Spawnlist had a function that let me change that, but since it was phased out I haven't figured out a (simple) way to fix it that doesn't involve altering original code. As a result, animals can be pretty sparse, especially after you tame a few (the game counts tame animals towards the 15, after that you have to spawn them yourself either with commands or cake.)

I'm really not sure what else to tell you. I switch between 3 different Windows machines depending on where I am when I work on the mod, they have XP, Win7 32 bit and Win7 64 bit. I am constantly deleting my minecraft bin folder and reinstalling the mod from the download links on these computers for testing purposes and never have any problems with blackscreens. I've installed it with other mods like Mo Creatures and More Creeps and Weirdos, SSP commands, etc and it runs fine. Other people post videos of it working fine on their computers, including this latest version.
Short of standing over your shoulder and watching you install it or installing it for you, I don't know what else to do. I'm not saying that you don't know what you are doing, but it is really hard to troubleshoot blackscreens because there is no error log saying exactly what is not working. Generally, if it is not Meta-INF, it is because a class is missing from the jar and when the game can't find it, it hangs.
Hmm... So, would it help if I were to provide a list of what all is currently in the jar? I don't know anything about what all is supposed to be in there, maybe I'm missing something?
I could try and find some sort of screen recorder and try and show you how I'm installing it, also. This is happening with lots of mods, after all, not just this one. Since the update, I've only successfully installed (as opposed to reinstalled) ML, AM, Spawner GUI, Floodgate Control, Wolf Sitting Glitch Fix, and a few of CJB's mods, and I've tried to install a lot more than that.

Yeah, if you want to try to post a video of your mod installation process, that would help a lot. I'm assuming you've already started from scratch with a freshly downloaded minecraft.jar of the latest version 1.4_01 and that you know how to install ML and AM, but it wouldn't hurt anything to include all of it. Fraps trial version is free, but only records in 30 second intervals. It's the easiest to use (in my experiences) though.
On the other hand, Mojang is planning on releasing another update this week, so mods are going to be broken again for a couple of days. Perhaps things will start working for you again after that.

I bet your using the wolf variant mod by Nandonalt. The only way to fix that is if there was a way to skin the wolfpups with adult skins. :sad.gif:
Check out my texture pack
you edited tamecalf.png? good job, u edited a useless texture. hahaha.
i think you guys can fix your wolf variations problem by making a .txt file called wolfpup and saving it to the .minecraft/WolfVariations folder.
make the .txt file look like this.
then of course adding wolfpup to Wolf_List.txt.
might just be crazy enough to work. maybe(cuz i havent tried it)
A 32x32 texture pack that keeps faithful to the original textures, items, and gui.
