Are these part of Faithful or do you have a download link I can put in the OP?
yeah there ripped from the faithful textures. but I messaged Vattic and asked if I could share them. I made the whole set. i noticed you used code to paste the lambbell.png onto both the lamb and piglet but you made a different calftame.png. curious why, i dont understand Java but couldn't u have used the same lambbell.png to paste onto the calf once u tamed it?
All of the baby farm animals use lambbell.PNG for their tags. It has the chicken band in it as well. It gets drawn on top of their individual textures.
In other news, I've given the RandoMobs team permission to create a texture set and patch for the baby animals mod. When it's ready I'll be posting a link in the OP.

then why include an extra chickenBand.png and calfTame.png?

This mod is awesome and adorable, but it will never be complete until squidlets are added.
What, that's not actually what baby squid are called? Phooey!

"Minecraft? Realistic? Really? This is a game where you punch trees to get wood, you can make the wood into wooden planks in less than five seconds, and trees don't fall even if you remove a piece of the trunk from the middle. This is a game where animate corpses, giant spiders and exploding green terrorists emerge at night to hunt you down, farm animals run rampant across the countryside, and you can stop the flow of molten lava with a block of snow."
How Do The Wolves get Pregnant the cake wont work please help?
It only works on wolves you raised from pups. They have blue collars.

They're most likely leftovers that I forgot to delete. I'm constantly trying to streamline the mod and sometimes don't clean up after myself very well ( I don't even remember making calfTame.png ) I'll work on it for the next update fix.
Hey great mod lovin it but i seem to be having a bit of problems with the wolves.
1. when game is exited all tamed wolves become untamed including normal wolves
2. when game is exited blue collar wolves now have wild wolf texture
(i think the problem with number 2 is that adult blue collar wolves dont have wild textures so when it becomes untamed it uses the default wild wolf)
Okay, I can't figure out what's wrong with this thing.
First, I'm not sure if I'm just doing it wrong, but I have two .jars—minecraft.jar and minecraft–1.4.jar. It also might be of some importance that I am running a Mac.
META-INF is deleted, and I followed all the directions as closely as possible, but after "Done Loading", it black-screens. After it didn't work when I put the mod in minecraft.jar (black-screen issue above), I tried it in minecraft1.4.jar, but then it just stops on "Done Loading". Now I have both .jars in my bin, both with the mod installed, and without the rx.class replaced, and it's still just black-screening.
I have a few other mods installed—ModLoader, AudioMod, You are the Wolf (alters appearances of all humanoids), Too Many Items (InvEdit), Spawner GUI, and Wolf Sitting Glitch Fix (fixes problem where wolves left sitting when game is exited do not recognize you or leave the sitting position when right-clicked).
Can anyone please tell me how to fix this?
*EDIT*
And it's definitely the "mod_BabyAnimals.class" file that's crashing it. I've been installing each file one at a time, and when I reached that one, it crashed after "Done Loading". Crashed, as opposed to the black-screening it was doing when I put the whole mod in at once. I also removed the minecraft1.4.jar altogether, and the game still runs fine (without Baby Animals), so please disregard the whole confusing thing with two .jars mentioned earlier.
Oh my sweet baby corn, this is the most amazing mod I've ever seen. Why is this not a part of the actual game? Now that there are tamable wolves, it seems so easy to enable a way to at least tame animals, even if they didn't add baby animals.
This is simply wonderful, though. Adds a farming element to the game I've been desperately craving. Thank you!

You use cake, right click and if you want them to already have the pup use light stone right click after you have used the cake. IF cake only makes them stand up or sit then they are already pregnant.
on a "SICKO" note.
I took one pig, tamed it made it follow me. Impregnated it with cake like 20 times, made it give birth on a big wooden platform then set it all alight. Mawhaha, best baby barbecue yet!

You can go ahead and move at the speed of light, But i will move at the speed of darkness.
Anyone know why it looks like that? They all do...
Thx :smile.gif:
My guess would be it's trying to use an adult wolf texture for the baby, and the size is all wrong, so it messes up. Try downloading the mod again and putting the default textures in your game, maybe?

Is there a download link for those baby textures? Are they in the Faithful pack? They're adorable. :smile.gif:
