What does MCP stand for? ive seen that program mentioned alot but cannot find it. Do you know how to merge class files?
MCP is the tool used by modders to create mods : viewtopic.php?f=1022&t=58464
And yes, I know how to merge files with it, look at my sig and oyu might understand why I know it =p
If you're going to try and merge the mods, my suggestion would be to use DiffMerge or WinMerge to compare the 2 files. I can't help you more than this.
Ok so since i have a Mac i have to use Diffmerge because WinMerge is only for Windows. So on DiffMerge i just compare the two class files i want to merge? anything else i should know before i try this because im not really what you call educated on this.

Pm'ing you, let's leave this thread clean of random chitchat :tongue.gif:
Please add these to your post djoslin, as well as rehost the second one, since it has nothing to do with my mod, I'd rather not have in my box.net account :tongue.gif:
Um, is anyone else having the problem where if you install these mods and then anything else, the your related items (I.E. telescope, turret) can't be made anymore or disappear? Every time I install these mods via Minecrafter and then install any other, they disappear. I've never seen anything like it before, and it utterly perplexes me, especially since I've never had a problem with these mods before. Strange =/ Ah well, if anyone could help, that'd be awesome. But in the meantime great mods!
Hey, just some food for thought: When using the telescope, could you change what you are seeing from a full box to a masked circle (Like if you were actually looking through a telescope)
Primitive example:
Instead of:
It would be:
If you do make this an option. Please an option. This mod is a god send for a project I'm recording, and I need it fullscreen.

Oo, awesome. I'll update them. Thanks man.

That's so strange. Try without Minecrafter?

So I'm getting pretty satisfied with the new liquid mod. If things go well I should be able to release tomorrow (hopefully, no promises).
My plan so far is this:
. finite liquid code (done)
. pumps (done)
they drag water through the pipe and spout it around the pump.
. pipes (done)
the pipes are their own 3d model (I finally learned how, woo!) and they'll visibly show you where they output.
when I post a video it will be more clear.
I'm thinking of making the main 'type' of finite liquid to be 'oil' or something like it. Oil will randomly appear like lakes and lava pools do.
Then maybe making some type of mixing process to mix water and oil and make finite water. lava + oil = finite lava.
I still have to add a redstone input to the pump, and maybe make a switch for the pipes (so you can seal off a certain pipe or a pump with redstone input). I also have to make the bucket scoop up the stuff, and make it not break with tools.
hey the trapdoor mod works in singleplayer but doesn't work on my server but shows it when i create it but doesn't want to let me drag it to my inventory i also have trapblock and toomanyitems install - also says "there is no item with that id"
Please add these to your post djoslin, as well as rehost the second one, since it has nothing to do with my mod, I'd rather not have in my box.net account :tongue.gif:

No problem =)
I already had the source file for your telescope, and had to decompile CCW, so I figured I might as well do it :tongue.gif:
Hey, can you provide an alternate version for the trapdoor mod where the left-click (opening) and right-click (changing the position) are swapped? It's for those who are used to opening doors with right-clicking, like me.
I noticed in your cannon powder video you use a triple rail cannon. Spot on mate! I was one of the fine-tuners of that particular design, and you did it justice!
Would love to use the Rope mod, but cannot due to a block conflict (242). It is already used in Industrial Craft, and I cannot change it in the Rope mod. Not going to change it in IC and risk breaking future compatibility. Perhaps you could make it possible to change the id in the Rope mod itself for users that need to do so.

Haha, I actually developed the triple rail cannon on my own months ago. As soon as I discovered that cannons could be made, I spent hours and hours building new versions of the one shown.
Here's my first design from early october:
I'm glad we share a passion for building virtual cannons due to a glitch in a video game. :]

Question about glasslights:
Where do i put the files in minecraft.jar???? could you please make it more simple and straight forward.
Put all the *.class files and the /imgz/ folder (if it has one) in the root of minecraft.jar
It's pretty straightforward :tongue.gif:

There is a property file for this exact purpose. Read over the main post.

Progress:
I'm glad I didn't rush to release the liquid mod, I discovered that the pump would go into an infinite loop if you made the pipes in a loop. (Kinda makes sense in a way.) I had to learn how to do 3 dimensional arrays, but I've solved the problem. And you can trigger the pumps with redstone now :]
Now to add switches to the pipes themselves, bucket functionality, and mixing liquids.
I'm surprised at how well minecraft handles finite liquid, but it definitely isn't for slow computers. And unless I stumble upon some crazy breakthrough, I won't be able to replace water completely. The lag would be pretty upsetting.
Either way, I'm thinking of new uses for liquids. I feel like I'm on to something with this.

Aw. Makes me wanna wait for the next version lol. But it ain't that hard to swap, right? If only I know how this Java scripts work. (This is really the first time that I as a 'casual' modder have no clue on what to do to 'fix' mods)

Yeah it is relatively easy, it's just I'm not able to do any modding at the moment. I've been kinda busy with life.
Well I do have that Java Basics school project that needed to be finished. I might figure out how to swap it myself while doing it (my current basic knowledge of Java doesn't allow me to understand the script atm lol). I already got a source code. I'll let 'ya know if I do, hopefully I would provide the alternate version myself and give 'ya less work for your mods. :wink.gif:
