I figured out what was causing the missing textures: Optimine. Now all my other mods's textures show too! Anyways, I looked for a log file but there wasn't one. Sometimes when ModLoader crashes on me it leaves its log file but only because it showed the black screen first. Mine crashes before it can even create your log file. I've also tried with NodePack v1.2 but it still crashes.
I don't think it is a problem with your mod (it being so awesome ). I think it might be my Minecraft LAUNCHER. I have a patched launcher so that it runs in 64-bit mode (supa-speed) and that may be causing it. I will check and post back here.
EDIT: It's the launcher! Sorry for whining when it was my problem all along

I agree with PacoDaTacoSeller I just checked then and the mod pack I uploaded does include the brick_door_top.png so maybe it just didn't find it's way into your jar. or it didn't get into the right place.
Try again and see if you can get it working.
hmm, for some reason, i can only install the crystal pack, i tried the lights and detector block, but it did not work and would just black screen with no report, i tried to run it through the command line and i get this
OpenAL initialized.

this is with crystals and detector installed
I'm not 100% sure. But it could have something to do with me forgetting to put the textures in the separate NodeDetectorPack release. Yet another silly mistake of mine. I've fixed it up now. Try re-downloading and installing again. hopefully it'll work this time. :biggrin.gif:
Good work! :smile.gif:
I downloaded the Illumination Tube 1.0 becaurse it looks just awesome but the only problem I have is that I dont know how to creat this tube o.0
Anyone knows the crafting stuff?
The recipes are included in a text file in the Node Pack. I will add recipe files to the separate releases next release. So for now:
Laser Bridge Control: creates laser bridge blocks when powered or right clicked. Right click again or remove power to deactivate the bridge.
XXX
XSX
XXX
X = cobblestone
S = slimeball
----------------------------------------
Illumination Tube: a bright light source that is similar to a torch, but can also be placed on ceilings and in water.
X
OYO
X
X = stone
Y = sulphur
O = glass
How do you power the Laser Bridge? Right clicking did not work.
Edit: oh never mind did not actually craft it. only used too many items and used the laser bridge block.
The Laser bridge seems to be missing something or messed up because it is breaking my game. Loving the mod and keep it up
You are quite right. It was missing the mod_NodePack.class. Yet again another silly mistake of mine, even though I was sure I had checked them all. Just in case I re-checked the other mods and it turns out the crossbow and bolts pack didn't include that file either. So I've re-uploaded both of those packs. I tested it on my computer and it all seems to work. Let me know if you still have problems.

This looks good but to bad it extremely fails and for some reason will not work with any other mods
As this pack includes a crap-load of stuff i expected that it would not be compatible with some other mods, especially due to the large amount of block ID's I use. However I'm unsure of a way of avoiding this. If anyone knows more about this than I do please fill me in. :biggrin.gif:
For now Just try downloading the separate packs of what you want and see if they are compatible with your other mods.

how does you craft the illustration tube?
I have already answered this question, see the bottom of page 2.

more block id's and use big numbers
or a text file we can use to change the id's to fit in
I really wish your laser bridge was more like floodgate how you can drop in blocks to make it look how you want it(and default with no blocks in it would look like the laser bridge), cause making a bridge and death pits with floodgate = pain in my ass and an assload of redstone, and your mod would make me happy if it was similar but kept the extend till hit a block method idea.
I can't use it because it uses block id 98 which at the moment is being used.
edit: btw, I enjoyed your light tube, but the bottoms are blank so it looks funny IE they poof away depending on the angle
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
There used to be images here... then this forum took an arrow to the knee.
The laser bridge still breaks my game, i get a blackscreen and the game crashes before i can see the error report so i cant post that, sorry. but im not sure about why it is broken for me. i have everything else working.
or a text file we can use to change the id's to fit in
Probably will use the text file idea, thanks. It's on my to do list.

I'm reluctant to do this because it would make my mod more similar to the floodgate mod. Which may not go down too well with Risugami. You can at the moment "hard-code" in the change of texture by replacing my bridge texture with your own 16x16 texture. As long as it has exactly the same name and is in the same place it should work.

Since I don't want to actually change any of the default minecraft class files I've just been using the built in render types. and unfortunately that means torches do not have a face on the bottom of them. Hopefully I will fix this when I can figure out how to render them my own way.

They will when I can figure out how to. At the moment they just do the same damage as arrows.
