Hey, I downloaded the laser bridge mod (love it, going to DL your other mods too) and I don't quite understand what the "Secret armor" does that's so special. I notice nothing.

Hey guys! So, I create a giant mine/hole thing. It's got 6 layers, each layer is two blocks high. I took each type of crystal(6 types) and put one crystal on each layer. The results were amazing. After about an hour and a half I had extremely surprising results.
i had many mods on an account that i killed to use your mods cuz it wasnt working with them (or so i thought) i then procedded to put More Block IDs on along with modloader 5 and the Gui files in where there supposed to be NOTHING else i then tryed ever possible method possible to get the thing to work but it kept crashing i tryed both versions and still nothing so i ask u WTF am i doing wrong: My process i put the stuff in your bin file into the minecraft.jar file and the mods file into the resources file....soooooooooo what am i doing wrong???

Did you remember to delete META-INF? If not, you shouldn't be modding. If so, at least remember to put your error logs in [code] brackets.

You have modloader installed, correct? Go into your .minecraft folder after it crashes, and open modloader.txt
Scroll down until you find the error, or post it here.
I've personally tried to load up Node Pack with Industrial Craft, and if I remember correctly, there weren't enough terrain sprite indicies(sp?) left, and I don't think there's a fix for that problem currently.
Found a little bug with the compacter, the game shuts down when I try to use it. Everything else is working fine, only the compacter has the problem. Here's the error (I cropped out the rest of the log):

Oh joy. That's helpful. If you had actually read my post you would have noticed that I'd said that I didn't notice any difference, so obviously I'm not noticing anything. I notice no difference on any of the bridges. Normal speed on laser bridges, normally accelerated speed on accels, and the usuals for death and trick.

Not 100% sure what this error is. Try starting from a new .jar, and go ahead and post the full log if it doesn't work.
I did start from a new .jar, twice. Tested each mod I had problems with (nothing related to this bug). Fixed some bugs I had, found the reason why the Portal Gun Mod wasn't working properly and after everything was done I reinstalled everything again. Even when I tested NodePack alone I still had that problem.
Another thing that I should've mentioned is that I removed the ClockBlock (BlockClock.class and mod_NodeClock.class) from the Pack for Block ID issues and because I never used it, but I doubt it affects anything since the Pack itself can also be downloaded in separate parts.

That's true, I got one through SPC (still haven't figured out how to get one) and tested it on normal blocks and laser blocks and I didn't notice anything different. Bug, perhaps?

its the compacters gui. i had the same problem once and all it was is i forgot to put in the the gui folder. check that and if thats not the problem try re-loading all your mods with modloader first.

Hey guys! So, I create a giant mine/hole thing. It's got 6 layers, each layer is two blocks high. I took each type of crystal(6 types) and put one crystal on each layer. The results were amazing. After about an hour and a half I had extremely surprising results.

The crystal spawning algorithm was a doozy. But I've been working on fixing it up for the release of v2.1. It will allow for easy farming and at the same time the crystals wont "take over the world" as they do in your video.

Hmm I'm able to get the compacter gui working on mine, but I am only using one version of my pack. Let me know what version (ie the gui api or non gui api) and I assume you're using modloader v1.5 version. I'll run some experiments and get onto fixing that up for you.

It's supposed to make you run faster only on accel bridges. I've managed to get it working on my comp, but as the past shows, that means nothing. Try running with the boots off and on. Also try jumping that always seems to raise you to max speed for some reason. The speed difference is very large so you should notice it. If there is still no difference let me know what version of the node pack you're using and I'll check it myself.
Flying Wand: Temporary flight

And My girlfriend actually suggested a similar wand to your Tree Wand to me the other day.
With the obsidian wand do you mean it converts an entire lava pool into obsidian. Or just that it converts one block?
Because one block I feel would be a bit pointless. And perhaps instead of this being a new wand, this could be another effect of the ice wand.
Tame wand sounds cool, but I like polymorph better. :tongue.gif: I've already made the polymorph wand. It's so fun! :biggrin.gif:
And the flying and invisible sound interesting too. I'll work on getting some of these to work. Might not get all of them in the next release tho. Depends on how hard they are to implement.

For those of you haveing problems insatlling the compleat mod, check if you have mod loader v5 with grass fix. if you are useing v5 without grass fix go and get v5 grass fix. i had problems and nothing i did seemed to fix it when i was not useing grass fix, when i changed it it work first time with all my other mods that i use.

Did you remember to delete META-INF? If not, you shouldn't be modding. If so, at least remember to put your error logs in [code] brackets.

You have modloader installed, correct? Go into your .minecraft folder after it crashes, and open modloader.txt
Scroll down until you find the error, or post it here.
I've personally tried to load up Node Pack with Industrial Craft, and if I remember correctly, there weren't enough terrain sprite indicies(sp?) left, and I don't think there's a fix for that problem currently.

I did start from a new .jar, twice. Tested each mod I had problems with (nothing related to this bug). Fixed some bugs I had, found the reason why the Portal Gun Mod wasn't working properly and after everything was done I reinstalled everything again. Even when I tested NodePack alone I still had that problem.
Another thing that I should've mentioned is that I removed the ClockBlock (BlockClock.class and mod_NodeClock.class) from the Pack for Block ID issues and because I never used it, but I doubt it affects anything since the Pack itself can also be downloaded in separate parts.
