No. There is not, unless you want to try to go through it and remove the stairs that depend on it and all code related to them.

Where's the love? I'm working on fixing the mod. Just have patience the update will be out soon. The reason why it's taking so long is I'm also adding some cool new stuff. Like those three new bridges. So I'm making sure they actually work before I release v1.5.

Wow epic Mod, am using it now :biggrin.gif:, also i typed in Node Mod in the Seed generator and it made a very epic world, with a dungeon right next to a sand mountain! its a good seed :biggrin.gif:
Just thought I'd fill you guys in on development of the nodepack version 1.5.
I'm currently working on a massive change to the code which will allow the nodepack to be even more customisable. Not only can you change the id's of the items and the blocks but if there's an item you REALLY don't want to use you will be able to disable it. Any recipes, etc involving this item/block will not exist in the game. It might be a bit buggy when I first release it but hopefully all of you will be able to help me refine it so that it's seamless. However hopefully not too many people actually want to use it. :wink.gif:
Also I thought I'd give you a sneak peak at the change log to date. Some parts have been removed to keep the surprise but here you go:
- fixed texture mapping of laser bridge when using cloned texture.
- correct colours are now shown when using wool as the source for the cloned texture with the laser bridge block.
- fixed menu settings so they are saved/loaded between sessions
- added three new types of bridge, death,-(REMOVED)- and -(REMOVED)-.
- added new -(REMOVED)- armour item. Will allow you to -(REMOVED)-.
- added crystal spawning abillity. Crystals will grow other crystals. Happens fairly slowly and randomly.
- added rare large crystals that drop crystals. Now you can farm crystals
- made wands swing when used.
- added a -(REMOVED) block.
- moved nether and obsidian ingot block stairs to the NodeToolPack.
- freed NodeStairPack of reliabillity on NodeToolPack.
- changed crossbow and bolts recipes, (bolts use iron instead of cobblestone).
- including the ability to not load any of the NodePack block/items by setting id in file to -1.
- file loading now uses the correct slash. So should work with mac and linux machines.
And yes, that's right, red bridges are death bridges. They kill.
Also, if you're interested, I'm currently working on an actual independent game of my own. It's called Turret Tactix. Keep an eye on my sig and you'll see a link to it soon. :biggrin.gif:
Nice. I assume that the update also contains forward slashes instead of backslashes?

I like the crowssbow. Works smoothly and makes bones less useless.
The bolts themselves look sort of odd, and it seems that it also makes my standard arrows look a little off also, but that really doesn't matter very much.
I'm not sure why, but whenever I install the crossbow mod and modloader v4, nothing else, it crashes every time. Is it just me?
EDIT: Fixed. Somehow it didn't copy the crossbow and bolt ID files
Probably only going to be using the bridge mod, but maybe the tube, doors and crossbow as well.

yes version 1.5 will be modloader v5 compatible. at least thats what he said a while ago.
