@Razer1103 - I'm not even sure I know what TFC Mod Manager is so I'm not sure SporkList can even be installed properly with it.
@Razer1103, 540howdy - Have you tried a vanilla install of MC + SporkList (just SporkList)? If so, does the problem persist? The only real way to narrow down the search, IMHO, would be to ensure MC + SporkList works, then add a mod, test it, and repeat. When if breaks, we'll have a better idea of which mods are butting heads.
I'll continue to look into this on my own in the mean time.
Thanks for the support guys! I'm glad people outside of my circle of friends find this mod useful.
Keep checking back though as I've got big plans currently in the works for this mod. Automatic sorting based on number of visits will be in my new minor release. In addition to the sorting, the last server you joined will automatically be selected. Those are just little tastes of what's to come. Expect a big surprise :smile.gif:
Works nicely for me on Windows xp, and I was running SSP commands mod among others. Going to install it on my other computers that have Windows 7 installed. Your mod blends in well with the multiplayer login screen, and I like that it's not a separate app or launcher.
Hey!
I'm running Windows 7 64-Bit.
I use TFC's Mod Manager 14.1 and have NO other mods installed.
When I attempt to open Minecraft after installing this mod, I get a pure black screen.
I made sure that it deletes the meta.INF file also. I have tried also tried installing the following mods with it:
Modloader(v4+ versions)
audiomod
Any suggestions for a fix?
ps. I made a forum account just for this thread. :smile.gif:
I'm sorry to hear you're having some problems. I'd remove your modded MC, restore your backup, install SporkList, and ensure you delete the entire META-INF folder. Let me know if it works alone (without TFC mod manager), if it does then there's a potential conflict. If it doesn't work, then I'll need to get some more info from you so I can properly troubleshoot the issue.

Thanks! I wanted it to fit into the game and look appropriate. I didn't want to import new libraries and add fluff so I wrestled with Minecraft's own GUI and set this up.
Sneak Peak! I wanted to give you guys a little teaser of the feature I'm finishing up now for Sporklist.
Project Publist: The first integrated public server listing for Minecraft!
The idea was to provide an integrated public server listing for fun pub play. The Favorite button enables you to move public servers onto your multiplayer list with a single click making finding them later a breeze. For those servers you find to be more of an annoyance than fun, you have the Hide button which removes them from your public listing. Server administrators can provide useful information such as mods or rules which you can view via the Info button. Lastly, the Filter button will remain disabled in the initial release of Publist so I can spend time perfecting the filtering options.
Oh, did I mention that with simple configuration options you'll be able to point Publist to any server listing as long as they adhere to the XML schema used? While not useful for all users, I wanted to ensure that the tool remained flexible for any number of users and uses.
Status:
- Web service to provide servers is [Completed]
- Minecraft GUI [Completed]
- Load server listing [In progress]
- Server admin portal [Pending]
- Advanced filtering [Pending]
While I have built all of the code myself to date, I would be interested in talking to any web developers/designers who might be interested in assisting with Publist. There remain some pretty significant plans on the table and plenty of challenges for those looking for some excitement.
Would love to hear feedback, especially on the UI layouts.

Sounds cool! There is an external mod that has a list, but the one you are making sounds like it has a quite few more very useful features... and it is ingame.

Found 2 bugs(a couple days ago, and if you don't update your version title some people are not going to be happy(looks at self)):
-When opening the server select screen, the very first server is highlighted
-You can't press enter to open a server when highlighted(may only happen when above happens)
EDIT 1: Oh and while you're at it, update to the latest SPC. It's currently 2.5_1, but simo said he's getting another release out later this night.

I have a suggestion for the READ ME file. You have a very complicated installation method for mac and I have found a simpler one.
1.Open Terminal and copy this code in.
2.Press enter then open a new finder window and goto your username and click on mctmp.
3. Copy files from Sporklist into the mctmp folder and replace the files it asks for.
4.Go Back to terminal and type this code to close the folder.
5.Open Minecraft and enjoy.
I <3 teh minecrafters on teh youtubes (If you did you would know why my signature specifically had THOSE custome achievements :P)
I know how to install mods, but I just want to clear that up.
By the way: Awesome mod! There's a reason I chose this one to install first.
Your worlds will be perfectly safe. This mod does not touch them in any way.
Do you mind if I use your steps? I'll certainly give you credit.
