I followed all the steps and followed a video tutorial but....now minecraft is crashing. Are there any common mistakes that I might've done? (the only one I know of is the META-INF which I deleted..and yes I am a noob ;P)
Since Flan isn't going to update his planes mod for 1.2.3, I need an alternative. I asked in the Modding Discussion section and got no response.
I got Zeppelin mod. I need something similar to the planes mod.
There must be something wrong because my minecraft crashes after installing the planes mod (1.2.3) along with its requirements.

Re-read the OP too. It's going to be possibly 1/2 weeks or more 'till we see anything (going by his Facebook page).
In other words, Flan's Planes isn't for 1.2.3. It's still for 1.1.0. Which is kinda preventing me from updating to 1.2.3 as I need them for my Airport.
I got an idea for the WWII Weapons Modpack - Two, actually.
1. Machineguns. I'm thinking mounted MG blocks. Dunno how do-able that'd be, but it'd be awesome. Weapons like the M1919 Browning, MG42, that sauce. Then, there's LMGs. The Type 99, Bren, DP-28, Johnson, I dunno. But since you're making it easier to add yer own guns, which is great, I guess I could make 'em myself.
BTW, thanks for adding Japanese and Russian guns. (random mid post thankyou over)
2. Iron Sights. I always use them in CoD and Battlefeild, and it just feels off when I play games like Team Fortress 2 when the only gun I can really aim with is the sniper(TF2 = still good game). I'm thinking they could work the same way as the sniper scope, but with a drawn image of the weapon and the sights in place of the reticle and little to no zoom. Infact, I'd be willing to (attempt(succesfully)) draw 'em for you. I'd draw them to be clear, and fit the feel of Minecraft. Whaddya say?

2. Iron Sights. I always use them in CoD and Battlefeild, and it just feels off when I play games like Team Fortress 2 when the only gun I can really aim with is the sniper(TF2 = still good game). I'm thinking they could work the same way as the sniper scope, but with a drawn image of the weapon and the sights in place of the reticle and little to no zoom. Infact, I'd be willing to (attempt(succesfully)) draw 'em for you. I'd draw them to be clear, and fit the feel of Minecraft. Whaddya say?
