Wow, this is the mod i've been waiting on! Excellent work and i'm curious how this goes on. Finally a reason to finish and post my Airport Map for download. Sneak peek below:

i seem to be getting a problem. it installs perfectly fine and i don't get a black screen i go to craft it and nothing happens. its like the mod isn't there. i have also installed to many items after once to see if it would see the items(it normally detects mod items) but nothing appeared. any ideas?

Looks nice, but I feel if it was made of iron ingots, it'd be more fair in a way.
I mean as of right now, a plane is godly easy to build, just hit a few trees.

Actually, why not have a slow semi-bad wooden plane
and if you wish to have a fast good plane, you'd use iron ingots in place of wood?

ween i first saw this thread i this it was going to be a troll saying 'U MAD BRO?' but the plane is real!

I'm not usually a fan of bringing vehicles into Minecraft, but I'm going to download this anyway It looks very nice =)

Still no reply, can someone please help us get the plane mod. We cant craft it. And we did everything.

This mod is early in development and only adds one plane at the moment - the Biplane!

If this is true can you give us a hint what kind of planes you plan on making next.

Now are all three of those downloads needed for this?

This is cool and all but the plane has a max speed of zero miles per hour.

any "special" way to install it? i'm getting a black screen as well as the other people though i install the mod and take out the META-INF folder.

Maybe add fuel - like oil for the flamethrower in SDK's Gun Mod - and have options whether or not the plane goes fast or slow. Obviously going faster uses more fuel.

Wow...Sweet. This would go great with one of those floating custom biomes worlds lol. Now you can build like an airport on each one and stuff...sweet.

works great but it gets stuck in the ground.
