It does that, but it gets to maximum velocity far too soon; as I said, I will be trying to smooth out the flying in future updates.

There is a minimum propeller speed that it must achieve to take off, but it is far too low. Again, I will be fiddling the values for movement.

The cursor is locked into the centre and then you move the plane with the cursor rather than your view. I tried other methods but this worked best. The annoying thing is the view jumping because it seems I can't stop the view moving, I can only reset it.

You are definetely running 1.3_01? And your minecraft.jar was definetely clean before you installed?

What are the chances of it actually tilting when turning? That's not going to make me not use the mod lol, but it'd be cool =]

Originally I was coding the flying very similarly to how planes fly in BF1942, but I found that rolling the players view was incredibly complicated and involved modifying some pretty major classes... So in the end, I settled for this, much less realistic, but actually more suited to minecraft, method of controlling the plane.

Here's my feedback...
First, I'd like to say, the mouse being so buggy is quite annoying, and since the cursor can't move, it saddens me.
Because I would love to look around and enjoy my surroundings, but that stops me...
And the fact that it gives you a second of freedom and then screams "NOT" doesn't help.
Another thing would be that it could drop an equal amount of what you put into making it.
This pissed me off with boats and now it pisses me off with planes :wink.gif:
And on the subject of tilting, I think you should fix everything that people have issues with before you add anything, but when that's done, I say you get down to working on tilting when turning.
I think you should just make the plane bank(Tilt, whatever), and not the player's screen (To simplify it)

Run minecraft, get the blackscreen and paste the error report here. Blackscreen tells me nothing, an error report may solve your problem.

but when i open minecraft it still gives me a black screen???
