Non of those had the item ID in the 4000's so i decided just to take out metallurgy
i downloaded all of the latest flan content packs and the flan mod itself and installed it the exact way it said to, but when i log into mine craft and create a new world, the items from the mod are not there except for the crafting tables that craft the planes.
What would i be doing wrong for that to happen?
block ids and item ids are very different so i suggest use id resolver and give flans mod the highest priority since flans mod bullets (as far as modern weapons plus goes) is very picky about items ids
I couldn't see if this issue was addressed, and I'm posting it on the other mod's site for total coverage of the issue. I tried to load the Planes with Forestry and there seems to be an item conflict error between the two. I'm not very good at scripting so I can't identify the actual item id error if that is the problem. I am wanting to add some additional mods then the ones I'm loading so will report as needed. Any advice from anyone that has run across this problem and maybe have a fix would be great. Otherwise, just wanting to let it be known for future development or current development fix. Both me and my friend have been wanting to work with this mod and I became very excited when I saw that it is now utilizing forge. you need to resolve your id conflicts, i suggest you use id resolver to fix the problem and give flans mod the highest priority and make sure that buildcrafts oil ids are correct

as you see oil still needs to be one higher then oil moving to do this correct you need to take your time in assigning buildcraft ids until you get oil settled after that do auto assign the rest of the way

you have to download Flans mod, put that into .minecraft/mods , then make a new folder called "Flan" and add content packs into that folder then it should work!
don't forget that you need to unzip those files before playing and making sure that when you click on the folder (like parts pack) that you see more then 1 folders
For those that have spinning vehicles, *sigh*, get Flans mod 2.1.1
However, vehicles crash the game in 1.4.7
well since i don't use flans mod for vehicles i really don't know the problem, but after reading some 10+ of the latest pages it seems like the problem goes to battlefield.

is there anyway to have multiple crafting recipes for the same item without creating copies of it.
as far as i know no, it is not possible with vanilla crafting but in flans, vehicles i don't know, but in guns yes it is possible.
for the crafting gun box (as in American Gun Box or Modern Weapon Box)
in the first line do this "AddGun (shortname of the gun) (the following recipe, only place 2 or below)"
then in the second its "AddAmmo (ammo the goes with the gun, short name) (then the recipe, same rules)"
also if you have a alternate ammo add this "AddAltAmmo (the other name need, bullets only) (recipe)"
this is the max in modern weapon plus but i will stick with it as it seems that only these 3 entries are the max

the full name is for ingame interaction while the shortname is for making the mod much easier to deal with since you only need to do a short-handed version of the weapon
next is what ammo the gun uses
here its the bullets, flare, and the nade that gets launched
next it deals with the icon and the icon name color
ItemId is the id the the game uses to assign the item, and no it is very different from block ids as blocks get placed and items are used in the "hand"
here is the gun attributes, how the gun behaves is self-explanatory but what the gun sounds like and the reloading has to have a sound file in the form of a .ogg sound file
the mode stands for if its a full auto or semi, and no i don't know if there is a burst as of yet (will check on it though) and the sights require a pic and a deployable gun needs a model (for placing) and extra things

lastestly the recipe (if it requires it like this m4-a1 grenaidier) it needs the shortname of the parts that make up the modded gun

it seems like you tried to enter a server with team enable correct?
from what i read it seems you need to contact the server admin or the server forums to find out what has happend
if there is no such thing as a server forum and the server admin is unresponive then the team.dat files need to go into a folder on your desktop that either has the server ip address or the server name
This bug is found when flying the planes from some custom packs such as Stan's pack, WW2 pack. After several minutes of flying in SSP or SMP (on lan server) without visible strain on client or server, the plane hits an invisible wall and the player falls out of the plane. The player can walk, but then modeled as someone sitting down. After this, the server takes a huge performance hit with max CPU usage and overburdening the server chunkcache, mostly resulting in server or client crash.
this glitch has been known and it seems like the problem is that you are just moving to fast for the chucks to generate correctly thus instead of hitting a wall you just "fell" into a world hole
it has been reported that the speed as to be taken down to the point of just barely lift-up and adjust altitude
or install opitfine if you have a multi core cpu and take advantage of its multi core feature in order to load chunks faster
also the performance spike is caused by the fact that the game thinks you are still in the plane thus creating a "clone" that is constantly generating new chunks
as far as i know no, it is not possible with vanilla crafting but in flans, vehicles i don't know, but in guns yes it is possible.
for the crafting gun box (as in American Gun Box or Modern Weapon Box)
in the first line do this "AddGun (shortname of the gun) (the following recipe, only place 2 or below)"
then in the second its "AddAmmo (ammo the goes with the gun, short name) (then the recipe, same rules)"
also if you have a alternate ammo add this "AddAltAmmo (the other name need, bullets only) (recipe)"

the full name is for ingame interaction while the shortname is for making the mod much easier to deal with since you only need to do a short-handed version of the weapon
next is what ammo the gun uses
here its the bullets, flare, and the nade that gets launched
next it deals with the icon and the icon name color
ItemId is the id the the game uses to assign the item, and no it is very different from block ids as blocks get placed and items are used in the "hand"
here is the gun attributes, how the gun behaves is self-explanatory but what the gun sounds like and the reloading has to have a sound file in the form of a .ogg sound file
the mode stands for if its a full auto or semi, and no i don't know if there is a burst as of yet (will check on it though) and the sights require a pic and a deployable gun needs a model (for placing) and extra things

lastestly the recipe (if it requires it like this m4-a1 grenaidier) it needs the shortname of the parts that make up the modded gun
but only if it needs one, if it a basic gun like the m4-a1 then no recipe is needed and the RecipeOutput is then deleted

sorry man i don't have that much experience with flans mod right now so i'm guessing no, its not possible to do so as you can see from the m4-a1 series
there are almost the same configuration of guns but there are so many text files so i'm guessing one recipe per gun
I can't remove the White Flags or the Bofors, It's really making me angry. there permitly stuck on the ground and In the way of my Building. Can I get some help please?

hmmmmmmmmm so flans mod ids haven't been changed and you still get this error, can you tell me what content pack you are using and i'll try to find out, also that is a lot of mods............
oh and also you can't change the priority in the config file, you need to restart the whole process by deleting both IdResolvers id change file and priority file
To the creater of Flan mod I am telling you thanks for creating this mod i really enjoyed it.But there is a bug i spotted which is the foretress plane mod(The one which is the biggest plane among the planes in the mod)I found out that i seat on the plane and when i tried to go up the plane is gone.Plus even i had flew off ,it suddenly get me off that plane and i cannot go back to my place.I cannot die in survival even when i press /kill.You may think this is ok but actually it is not ok.When i tried to quit the minecraft game it crashes.I really hope that you can fix this bug as soon as possible.I really like that plane the most but is a waste when this happens and for that plane please add the funtion to add cargo as is very big and if possible make the trottling up more faster cause i having hard time building the runway.Thank you.
I've downloaded all the folders from my mac and then put them onto a USB to put onto my windows computer.
But my problem is that the "Flan Mod" .zip folder is not loading the flan folder so the mods won't work :/ What Am'I doing wrong? Forge works but doesn't load the damn folder help?

block ids and item ids are very different so i suggest use id resolver and give flans mod the highest priority since flans mod bullets (as far as modern weapons plus goes) is very picky about items ids

as you see oil still needs to be one higher then oil moving to do this correct you need to take your time in assigning buildcraft ids until you get oil settled after that do auto assign the rest of the way

well since i don't use flans mod for vehicles i really don't know the problem, but after reading some 10+ of the latest pages it seems like the problem goes to battlefield.

as far as i know no, it is not possible with vanilla crafting but in flans, vehicles i don't know, but in guns yes it is possible.

the full name is for ingame interaction while the shortname is for making the mod much easier to deal with since you only need to do a short-handed version of the weapon

here its the bullets, flare, and the nade that gets launched
next it deals with the icon and the icon name color
ItemId is the id the the game uses to assign the item, and no it is very different from block ids as blocks get placed and items are used in the "hand"
here is the gun attributes, how the gun behaves is self-explanatory but what the gun sounds like and the reloading has to have a sound file in the form of a .ogg sound file

lastestly the recipe (if it requires it like this m4-a1 grenaidier) it needs the shortname of the parts that make up the modded gun
but only if it needs one, if it a basic gun like the m4-a1 then no recipe is needed and the RecipeOutput is then deleted
it seems like you tried to enter a server with team enable correct?
from what i read it seems you need to contact the server admin or the server forums to find out what has happend
if there is no such thing as a server forum and the server admin is unresponive then the team.dat files need to go into a folder on your desktop that either has the server ip address or the server name
this glitch has been known and it seems like the problem is that you are just moving to fast for the chucks to generate correctly thus instead of hitting a wall you just "fell" into a world hole
it has been reported that the speed as to be taken down to the point of just barely lift-up and adjust altitude
or install opitfine if you have a multi core cpu and take advantage of its multi core feature in order to load chunks faster
also the performance spike is caused by the fact that the game thinks you are still in the plane thus creating a "clone" that is constantly generating new chunks

sorry man i don't have that much experience with flans mod right now so i'm guessing no, its not possible to do so as you can see from the m4-a1 series
there are almost the same configuration of guns but there are so many text files so i'm guessing one recipe per gun
its a known problem and as far as i know you need to place the team.dat file into a folder that has either your server name or ip address

But my problem is that the "Flan Mod" .zip folder is not loading the flan folder so the mods won't work :/ What Am'I doing wrong? Forge works but doesn't load the damn folder help?
