Although they do increase the number of block IDs available to me, none of them seems to increase the number of sprite IDs for me (yes I did actually test them both)
Use Item Sprite API with both of them. It doesn't fix terrain indeces unfortunately, but it will handle item sprites running out. Just make sure that if installing with block IDs, overwrite the blockID files with the ISAPI files.
I'm still playing Minecraft 1.7.3 so I think, the mc extendet version should run with it right?
But I'm not able to install it correctly I think because everytime I install it (even on a fresh minecraft.jar) game crashes when starting a map or loading one.
Does someone has recieved to install MC extendet on 1.7.3 and can help me? I'm a bit confused about the requirements: it requires ModLoader and SapiPatch but both Mods are already in McExtendet download... what have I to do?
Sorry guys for dropping off the face of the earth a few months ago. I had stopped playing minecraft and lost interest in creating mods. Once Forge began to replace MCExtended, I stopped updating it. There will not be any more updates to MCExtended. It was bug ridden and very hard to maintain. This shouldn't make any difference as Forge has fully replaced it with a much better implementation. If you would like to update it send me a pm and I can send you the source from that last time it was updated.
Well I'm back. With some good and some bad news. The bad news is most of my previous mods I do not plan to update. This includes MCExtended. The good news is I do have a new mod out that does work with the current version of minecraft
