Is there some way for this to be compatible with Hippoplatimus's World Generator Mod so i don't have to actually change my minecraft.jar? I tried moving the resource folders into the resource folder in my .minecraft folder and I added a text file like the ones in the other world generation mods in my mapgen folder and moved the entire thing, with the .class files into my mapgen folder. It doesn't crash but the two mods don't show up. This is the text in the text file I'm using, its named WalledCity.txt

and GreatWall.txt

How do I make infinite cities that are composed like this?
I installed the mod as said in the intructions, but I'm not really seeing any cities? I installed the SSP - WalledCity_2.0.5 version. Any help would be appreciated.
These mods work and are great on the worlds that i already have, but when i try it on new worlds, no walls or cities generate. The mods i have installed are great wall and walled city (of course), modloader, audiomod, millenaire, minecolony, better than wolves, single player commands, and worldedit. Please help :smile.gif:
This is amazing! O.O Please! say you'll keep updating this for when 1.8 comes around. We're doing a world wipe on our SMP server to get all the new stuff, and I'd love to have this for when we do it.

I can't help you unless you provide more information. Could you say whether you have been able to get the log files and providing information as per the crash report guidelines would help.

Unless you've seen someone else report a conflict with a mod, the only thing I can say is to try uninstalling some mods. Maybe worldedit is the problem?

Yes the mod will be updated for 1.8.
I'm still working on updates. Haven't had much time to devote to it. I just have to get the new chunk explorer working for SMP now.
EDIT: I'm now aiming for one update out before 1.8 that will have an improved street layout and underground cities.
really? I installed the City, Wall & Road Gen and my TMI and Zombe Flight worked fine. hell, it even worked fine with Paintball mod.
Someone else reported this problem. It occurs when you open a chest. Apparently it has something to do with the way I code items though I code items the same way as Notch does for dungeons so I don't see why this would be a problem.

Hmm.... I have everything installed correctly, and i am experienced in mods, so i have no idea why its doing this, but i get a crash, and then MC closes before i can view really any of the log, so i have to idea what to do.

I've redownloaded the zip and reinstalled the mod three or four times. Minecraft crashes and the game closes before I can get the log with TMI and both mods installed.

In cases where minecraft quits or blackscreens before you can view the log file, you can use the Minecraft error test to retrive it. I've updated the F.A.Q. on crash reports to reflect this, my instructions before probably weren't as helpful as they could be.

I'd love to see more styles of cities possible (I'm really looking forward to some sort of steampunk or post apoc. style)
Well... after reading a little more in depth (Should have read the OP thoroughly) I discovered that custom buildings were already possible...
I Suppose I should change my question to: Does anyone have any custom cities they've made with this? I'll check the topic for some but with that many pages I'll probably miss some.

If there's a Fallout mod, that adds NPCs like fallout 3, you needs to pair with them.
