This is amazing! I have never seen a mod with such huge, awesome generated structures! I really hope this gets updated, because it would make my Minecraft exploring so much more fun!
That link does not work. In related news, I attempted to compile the source (against the bukkit sources) but my build path is missing concrete classes (World and Block for instance). Bukkit only provides interfaces. Also pulled minecraft_server.jar into the fray, but no joy.
Google has proven to be a train-wreck of uninformed script kiddies doleing out drivel.
Any hints / suggestions? I have a 6yo son who, after watching me play Aftermath, wants a world 'like that' to explore in creative mode.
As an alternative, could you PLEASE (I'm begging here) provide a small world file? I run a server on my home LAN and have used Java as my primary language (J2EE, server-side mostly) for 12+ years. I promise I won't be a PITA. I'll drop the world files into the appropriate directory on a Linux server and will be self-sufficent.

BTW, I love Aftermath. Amazing server.
Thank you,

I've gotten a lot further. I've compiled the mods against 1.4 (this is my first day of modding, it took a while to discover the MPC tools), the server GUI starts and the mod loads the templates. However I hit a NullPointerException (NPE) at Building.getWorldCode().
The following bukkit code is commented out: world.getUID().getLeastSignificantBits();
The alleged non-bukkit code, which I am using is: world.worldInfo.getSeed() + world.provider.dimensionId;
So, the open question is:
A: Find a working non-bukkit call
B: Build against bukkit.
Decisions, decisions...
And yes, when (if ???) I am finished I plan to release the source and binaries for 1.4

There's $50 bucks in it if you get this working for bukkit.

I get this mod working in 1.4.5 ...
Its as easy as to start a new world on 1.2.5 in creative and fly around as long as you want a larger world or at least till you get some cities or ruins spawn...
Later, copy the save folder to your 1.4.5 directory and ready to play !!
An interactive world map would be nice if you dont want missing map zones to spawn
I miss this mod so much. Playing with this, RedPower, ThaumCraft, and BuildCraft installed together was a blast. I could turn a mob-infested cavern ruin into something that could make a Dwemer citadel in top shape look basic. This really does need to be brought back to the game and whoever takes the challenge will be lauded as a champion of the modding community.
By me, at least. The rest of the community will likely feel regular gratitude and respect. XD
