I've yet to merge anything with wildgrass. There was someone who merged bettergrass with wildgrass, but it doesn't support the sidegrass fix yet. I'm hoping to have all 3 working together really soon though, sorry for the confusion.
I'll PM you when all 3 can be used together, and I'll get you that terrain.png you were asking for in the MrM mods thread :wink.gif:
Thanks again for keeping this alive, advize. Hopefully it will become easier to maintain all of the different mixes and variations of grass mods in the future :tongue.gif:

Hopefully Mojang will fix the biome-sides internally once and for all, as it should have been done when Biomes first came out...
P.S. Nice work on the Gerudoku btw. My favorite 32x.
I know there is another version, but when a new version comes out, I will be forced to use limited biomo colored sidegrass. Of course, if you add a alternative for each version, I will be happy.
The only thing you're missing out on is BetterGrass support, which is really easy to add (and I'm working on it). There are about 10 different alternate versions that need to be made at the moment though, and it's really time consuming to try and maintain them all. I'm hoping to find some help soon.
Hmm... I may stated my opinion in a wrong may, causing you to not understand what I said entirily. I meant that I am fine with this right now, but. Eventually, Notch will make a new Minecraft version, breaking your older versions of the mod. When this happens, I am forced to use the limited version. What I am asking is for you to continue making a alternate version that still uses two textures. Also, I cant find the old version anywhere.

First off, I will update both versions for the next patch if I have to. However, it's quite possible that Jeb can be convinced to include the sidegrass fix in the next minecraft patch. He's been on vacation with the rest of Mojang and he hasn't been on irc in a while, so I can't guarantee anything yet.
As for the old sidegrass fix that you're looking for, it's included with the latest download. Inside Sidegrass Fix v2.3.zip you'll find a folder named "2.0 SideGrass Fix".

Can I ask for a ModLoader compatible BetterGrass? :smile.gif: :smile.gif: :smile.gif:
Thanks in advance! :biggrin.gif:
I'm hoping to talk to Risugami about that as it would require a slightly customized modloader (but would still be compatible with all modloader mods). I might be able to do it myself but it would be much easier for him to do as he already has the source code.
1. Install the Sidegrass Fix + BG, or Wildgrass 9.2 (client version) in any order.
2. Apply the compatibility patch.
Cool! This one also doesn't work with modloader, I take it?
No, Dragon Age 2 came out today so I'll be occupied for at least the rest of the day. I should have the ModLoader version ready by about this time tomorrow.
Well it appears ModLoader no longer works the way it used to and BetterGrass is already compatible with it (whoops). Currently, all possible combinations of Modloader, Sidegrass Fix, BetterGrass, and Wildgrass are now compatible with each other. I'm going to come up with an organised way for people to find the version they need soon.

Would that be modloader v5 that they work with? A lot of people are still stuck on v4 because a variety of other mods haven't updated for v5 compatibility (not that this means you should feel obliged to make a v4 version, of course)

It will work with either, as long as you install ModLoader first. I haven't done any thorough testing, but if any problems arise I know what I would need to change to fix it. It's a simple fix but I don't think it's necessary and I won't bother with it unless someone reports a problem.

Cool, I'll give it a shot tonight and report back. Thanks again!
I understand. This'll all be fixed once I figure out how to make a patcher.
Mod compatibility is extremely low at the moment. This'll all be fixed once I figure out how to make a patcher.
All right then; guess I'll just wait.
As far as I know, there is no Sidegrass Fix + Wildgrass + BetterGrass yet. What version did you install?
