I don't see an Installation guide?
Also, if it's just one of those "Extract-To-Minecraft-Saves" type of things, you should make one with a folder called "World2" or another number with everything needed in it. Makes it all neat and tidy.
EDIT: I cant tell you how to make it spawn on any height as I do not know how. I will try and figure it out and edit this post if I can.
EDIT2: Fixed some bugs in the code...
The first if statement declares the rarity.
In the example below it will spawn 1% of the time.
Increase the number to get a lower spawn rate.
Decrease it to get a higher spawn rate.
The second if statement (after the 3 for loops) checks to see if the area is not water, not ice, and not solid.
Im not 100% sure if that will work but try it.
The else statement is there so if it CANT spawn, it tries again.
On a side note I have successfully made it possible to generate something on the surface regardless of height :biggrin.gif:
public void GenerateSurface(World world, Random random, int i, int j)
/*Every chunk that is made will generate a random number between 0 and 1.
If it is 0 then proceed with generating the object*/
if(random.nextInt(1) == 0)
/*For every layer between 128 and 64 will do these actions*/
for(int k = 128; k > 64; k--)
/*Creates a variable at the point in the world*/
Material material = world.getBlockMaterial(i, k, j);
/*If that point is solid proceed*/
/*This creates a dirt 8 block high tower made of dirt*/
for(int l = 1; l < 9; l++)
world.setBlock(i, k+l, j, Block.dirt.blockID);
/*This creates a Gold Block on top of that tower*/
world.setBlock(i, k+9, j, Block.blockGold.blockID);
/*This exits the layer checking for loop*/
Forget everything else you know.
If you want it not spawn on ice and water use the following if statement:
if(material != Material.water && material != Material.ice && material.isSolid())
EDIT: Fixed the optional if statement

Well I -suppose- I should write something here. But I also should make a new account D<
Goddamn do I hate this name z_z
I think this is an inventor/tester/hacker/builder/bored's terrain.
You like to make redstone tracks and invent stuff here.
You want to test how something works out and other stuff.
In a barren world with no resources whatsoever, you decide to use INVEdit or another mod to get 1337 infinite resources, and you build to your heart's content with the infinite space.
Annoyed of all the mountains around you, you get a mod that BANISHES everything above and laugh continiously for no reason at all.
Is it possible to get red wool to generate?
I'm remaking the Old hag's potion shop with world generation for our The legend of zelda mod.
And the nicest thing for the pot's (shop) wall is red wool.
But the colors of wool seem to be chosen with the damage value.
So what do you typ when you have this code?
