Er. This is just sounds. It works with any version of Minecraft until the cave1-13.ogg in the ressources folders are replaced, or summin like that. The only thing you need to wait for when a update for Minecraft comes is the audiomod. I don't know if this is true though, since I haven't tested it. But basic logic tells it works anyway. Oh, and these sounds are EPIC Stoo. If you're still posting in this thread :c
This is true. Just get the latest version of Audio mod and you are all set. Been working a lot IRL so no chance to update sounds lately. Will give it a go maybe sometime this week. Hope you guys enjoy this as much as I do.
you actually dont need audio mod on windows just set the folder's ntfs permissions to deny the everyone group write access and the game wont crash but it also wont be able to replace the sounds

Every time a mod author makes a new "TOOL" God Kills a Kitten. Think of the Kittens, ADD Omniwrench Support To Your Mods !!!
This would be awesome, one time i was spleunking and I heard the high pitched one (or the minecart one, I forgot), and after it ended, a skele shot at me! No joke! It was perfectly quiet, and then it popped out!
A nice tip for those who want to keep the original sounds and have some new ones at the same time.
1. Install either Risugami's Audiomod or Minecraft Forge.
2. In ".minecraft\resources\" create a folder called "mod" (without quotes, obviously)
3. Install all the sounds you want in their corresponding folders (in this pack's case, put all the sound files in ".minecraft\resources\mod\sound\ambient\cave")
4. You're done, have fun playing.
This should work with every possible kind of sound or music (cave sounds, weather sounds, background music etc.).

..... creepy but not perticularly scary ... i think all those survival horrer games have desensitized me to flayed/mutalated undead
I don't believe there is an event to play cave ambiance, but if there is, these would be perfect.
