This looks like a glorious, glorious mod. Is it Mo' Creatures compatible? That's probably been asked before but I'm not going through 40 pages for a question that might not be there. Is the installation the same as it normally would be?
You can find a list of mods that have been tested for compatibility here. I'm not sure if anyone has verified Mo' Creatures yet, but I know the older version of Mo' Creatures worked just fine. I just haven't updated my mods to the MLv5 versions yet (waiting for some of the mods to be updated first).
I give you five s this is awesome, well better than the airplane mod, due to the fact that the airplane lands after every 10 coal use and i have to break it and then re build it which is a pain.
Can you add compatibility with the elemental arrow mod? It would be great if we can rain fire and brimstone arrows over those damned creepers!
Vanilla sounds (which is to say not many) are my preference. Perhaps with the pirate mod you should include an option to enable/disable extra sounds in a properties file?
I agree, bombs would be cool. Perhaps something craftable that works both in and outside of the airship? Like a tossable bomb that you can also drop from the airship for bombing runs.
I installed this mod per instructions but when I put the leather in the crafting window to make a balloon, it doesn't make anything! Do I need to delete Meta-INF?

Absolutely one of the coolest mods I've seen...unfortunately I'm SMP-only, but that wont stop me from complementing on a great piece of work! Hopefully one day I'll get to use this, keep up the great work!
Now if you TRUELY want to go passed expectations youll Scrape the idea of 1 spawning in groups and make it a boss event! with a huge freaken floating pirate **** that spawns smaller ones such as the spidermadien mod (if you know what that is) but the main ship has cannons that have giant balls that shoot out and go boom this all might sound childish if you do this and create a floating ship that spawns smaller ones i will worship the ground you walk on and when it dies instead of it disapearing it crashes with its treasure and becomes almost like ruins
This is fantastic! I have one little question, though. I put a few stacks of coal in the airship for fuel, and just left it in there when I got out. I kept getting the message about it adding x amount of fuel, even after I got out. Do I need to take the coal out every time?
Any idea when the mod is gonna' be ok for 1.4? :smile.gif:

I have a suggestion, Im all for steampunk and all that cool stuff, but before you start adding to the balloon to have
"GUNZ AND BOMBS LOL, I LIKE KILLING." Could you just have a "Vanilla balloon" with no additions, but it flys up and down and around.
Because now a days, anything that flies or drives MUST have weapons mounted some where, when I just want something for exploring purposes.
And no, adding a config to turn off BOMBZ AND GUNZ isnt what a mean.
But again, a suggestion.
Edit: also, could you get rid of that pole sticking in your face if youre in first person?
If i have this in my world, and then the world is updated will it corrupt my saves? Or is it an entity and disappears? I think it is the reason that my game is corrupt.

Hello all. With the new game update, and the very-recent Modloader update, I've decided to try the airship mod, but I'm facing a problem.
Problem? Game crashing.. I guess this is better than that uninformative black screen I got the FIRST time I tried the airship mod before the MC update yesterday! I have done everything perfectly just as it should be, have read countless bits of text and the readme's. Airship GUI and Item subfolders (16 for me, not 32) get copied into their corresponding GUI and Item folders in the MC .jar archive. Then .class files thrown in with the rest. Done. Then on to Modloader, all the bf, bw, etc. class files are deleted and replaced with the same-named class files that Modloader came with, as well as the unique class files it came with; these are all put in the archive with the bunches of other class files. All should be fine. Nope, now I run the game and it takes a second for anything to show, then I get a text window that says the game has crashed, and includes a long error message. I will try to get that code and put it in this post, but it disappears FAST.
