I put the modloader in the root minecraft.jar dir, then i delete the meta file. then i put the .class files from this mod into the minecraft.jar root dir and put airship.png into minecraft.jat/item. is it broken or am i doing something wrong?

Just a tip for any of your next projects: The next update will include something called a Redstone Diode:
It has four different settings for 4 different pause-lengths... I think this could easily (And intuitively) be incoporated into any modifications of powered minecarts and their derivatives as a control panel to change speed without having to sit on the vehicle. Plus, it already kinda looks like a smokestack!

It was not included in the .zip so i missed it, you should consider having it included.
as far as dimensions of canvas go I can go with hd patcher 32x32 patched up to 512x512 canvas, at 1024x1024 it craps out an error here a as high as can go hd with Cthulu:

I plan to make the Model/Texture changes when I finish the work on the inventory/fuel. when I get some work done on the inventory, i might be able to give you a timeframe :biggrin.gif:

Time frames are a good thing. Just make sure it's a leisure time frame. Don't burn yerself out though :biggrin.gif:

I have tried over and over to install the airship, i have tried to delete the bin file and let mc generate a new.
i have installed modloader by dragging the files into minecraft.jar no problem there, but when i placed the class files for the airship and took airship.png into /item and steamboat.png into /gui and deleted META-INF i got a black screen shortly after logging in.
Can someone please tell me if i have done anything wrong?
There are class files to load for the airship too I believe...done last if I remember right. And make sure your airship is renamed to airship.png

Well yeah. Several posts have been made for it so far. (not trying to be mean sounding)
New MC download (delete the bin folder)
Texture pack install with the patcher (remember to select the pack after all is said and done in the in game selector)
BL/BG (for me...this is the only mod I use cause I reinstall too much)
ModLoader (follow the instructions on this readme!!)
Steamboat png (gui folder of the minecraft.jar)
Airship png (item folder of the minecraft jar)
Then the class files for the mod (main directory for all class files)
Run MC and fly around (provided you built the airship)

this mod will either take A) a long time to make. or :cool.gif: stop development.
I am an Irrational & extremely impulsive person.
the readme is very much open for someone to overhaul. since this is a sort of alpha version(more like pre-alpha).
support is one of the things I am not really worried about. if it crashes due to an error in my code, not an error in your installation then by all-means i am very interested.
Also, everyone should read their own error reports before sending it to me. you might find out what the issue is yourselves.
