Great mod btw, It would be interesting if you could set it up to make you sickened if you eat too much Raw pork or fish, thus making you more hungry. and water bowls would be a very easy thing to make for thirst, but again, back to the new player. If there such a new player, how do they know how to add your mod? lawlz, keep up the great work.
I dont anything modding but maybe you mess with the option of the game. Then you could make it were you turn hunger (or what else you do to it) on and off. I dont know if it possible but if it is that would be cool you.
hm i got the mod it works its good but i think it takes too short of a time for the icon to reappear (when starting out)

Yes and no. Yes I could, but no it wouldn't be completely server-side. Any player connecting to your server would need a tiny mod that adds the hunger icon to their screen. I could probably do it if the hunger status was displayed as a chat message. "You are getting hungry...", "You are starving..." for example.

Any idea why the hunger icon disappears after I eat something in SMP?
EDIT: Never mind, I figured it out. It happens when your full, right?
Right. When your invisible hunger bar is above 3 quarters full no icon is displayed at all.

Whenever i use this mod, i get this:
Minecraft has crashed!
---*snip*-----
Looks like you don't have the image installed. Did you copy the /Xie folder from the .zip file into your minecraft.jar?

If this is mixed with the alchemy mod, then the food items could not restore health anymore, making more sense.
I might just read some java and try to mix both mods, together with the fancypack's flower seed thing.
I'm incredibly lazy, so if anyone else would like to try this out. . .
Yeah, Lawrahn's mod is what you're looking for if you don't want food to heal you anymore. I'd suggest using his mod instead.

...culd u pls pls pls put a dehydration bar for this mod...
I recommend Lawrahn's mod, which is now updated for Beta, and he has dehydration and more planned! :smile.gif:
Hey, I just found out that this mod somewhat clashes with SDK's gun mod and makes all the sentry guns disappear. Any idea whats making them incompatible? Thank you in advance.

Yeah, Scotty mentioned. I don't know why it would do that, since it doesn't go near EntityLiving. Which version of this mod are you using?

The most recent on both and it only happens in SMP. When I put in the hunger mod the sentries are gone, but when I reinstall SDK's mod they're back but the hunger doesn't work. Do I need to put it in my server jar too?

No, its a client-side mod. They must be destructively interfering. My mod changes a lot of native class files, is it changing any that SDK's also changes?
I'll download the mod tomorrow and take a good look.

So I'm having similar issues, but I had problems with sentries on a local server without even having installed my mod. Sentries not appearing, or disappearing/reappearing when I log out and log back in. Installing my mod seemed to make no difference at all.
I suspect the problem is server related, remember there are still plenty of glitches in SMP. Are you playing on a local server too?
I hate to pass off the blame to something else, but I see no technical reason why my mod would be interfering with sentries. Sorry I can't do better than that, but I tried.

Yeah, it's a local server for me and my friends. I've had sentry problems before, but not all them disappearing a once. Oh, well thank you for trying though.
I'm not sure if you're aware but this mod conflicts with the more health mod (viewtopic.php?f=25&t=122510), they both use the eu.class. The game will load fine but then crash upon world generation. My guess is that both eu.class files would have to be combined to be made compatible.

Try using Lahwren's hunger mod instead, it doesn't affect the eu class, and may be compatible :wink.gif:
This mod works great for me. for you :smile.gif:. I changed the hunger time to 60 minutes so it doesn't kill me so quickly, less than 2 days for death is a bit extreme.
I also think adding in the dehydration and fatigue would be nice :smile.gif:

Funny things happen when you're using this with Shockah's Time Shifter block. For example, when you use the block, it accelerates time until it reaches the point of time that you want, dawn or noon or whatever. It's a really nice effect watching the sky roll by. This in turn means that Hunger is also accelerated. I'm assuming this happens with other mods that alter the time, however I have not tested any of them.
The funny thing happens when time reaches its destination. If you pick dawn on the Time Shifter, the sun rolls down and the moon comes and goes, but when the sun gets back up and time goes back to normal, Hunger is no longer working. It will stay at whatever point it is at when time normalizes. If you are starting to starve at the end of the night, it will suddenly stop. Eating will make the Hunger icon go away, and it will not come back. Exiting out to the menu and returning to your save game does not help, nor does exiting the game entirely.
I am hoping beyond hope that this is something that you know about and are working on fixing when you say "big things are planned". It would be really cool for these two mods to co-exist.
