The description is enough to we know how it works, but I would love to see a video on it!! its usability.
I found a few on youtube, just not good enough yet to suggest here :>
BUG
Using the //mask ID command will only mack blocks into cobblestone rather than what is set as the current brush.
SPC 2.12.1 WE 4.6
I am well aware how to properly use the brush and mask tools, I've been making a custom map of floating islands (along with my adventure map) using nothing but SPC/WorldEdit, you can see one of the (many) islands already finished with grass that was added by masking the stone. However updating to 1.8.1 and the current version if I attempt to mask regardless of what material I tell it to use, it will only place cobblestone.
I hope this gets fixed soon, I was going to make part 2 of my floating island tutorial for youtube in 1.8 but now it looks like I have to go back to 1.7 to finish it due to this masking bug. (thank god for saving backups)
Question
Is there a better way to replace a percentage of a block?
For example (with these islands I'm doing) I want to add ores to them, but simply doing //replace stone 2%16 buggs out (16 is coal ore). I have to do it like //replace stone 98%stone,2%16
Hey, i just got a little problem on using the newest version of WorldEdit. I use this giant dirt block for tinkering and experimenting on how to build traps and such. I was starting to run out of room, and decided to expand it out, as I had many times before. before updating, for some reason, my wand didn't seem to work in selecting blocks (the "//wand" command actually didn't even give me anything). I tried using "//hpos1" and "//hpos2," they worked, but when using the "//replace air dirt" command it said it replaced one block. I decided maybe it was a glitch, and I updated.
The wand started working for selecting blocks, but now when I inupt the "//replace air dirt" command, it comes up with this:
Help?
EDIT: I went to the Single Player Commands page, redownloaded the new version of SPC, replaced the 4.7 version of WorldEdit with the 4.6 one that comes with it, and now it works PERFECTLY. Thanks anyway.
Is there a way to bind the Worldedit "use" function (brushes, info, repl, pos2 etc) to something other than the right mouse button? As of MC 1.8, you can bind other functions to the mouse buttons, which enables me to use my standard FPS controls. I've been using AutoHotKey to get around this, but typing in the console is affected by it, so I have to use extra keystrokes to suspend/re-enable the script. I promise this is way more annoying than it sounds.
When I saw that Notch had implemented binding to mouse buttons I thought I would be able to ditch AutoHotKey, but apparently the regular 'use' and Worldedit 'use' are coded separately.
I'm hoping I've articulated the problem (and my frustration) well enough; is there any way around this? I want to be able to use the space-bar for the tools in this mod.
I absolutely LOVE this tool. Thanks for making it. I just found your online manual for it also. World Edit should be a default tool in MC for those who are creative. It is amazing! Here are ten diamonds and a couple of Notches showing my happiness with WorldEdit. :smile.gif: I need to mine for more Notches :tongue.gif:

Problem is I nick-name 4.6 the Picasso editions cause copy and paste is screwy with some blocks; but is fixed in 4.7+ but which only can be used by bukkit servers.
is it because of java 7 or something?

Curse PremiumSpecify types of brick (98:0, 98:1, 98:2 ...), piston facing, or chest facing yet.
Does this work with 1.8.1

Retired StaffYes it does. Look for Single Player Commands, thats the mod that lets you use this.
Trap epic fail.

Please report this error: [See console]
java.lang.AbstractMethosError: com.sk89q.worldedit.LocalWorld.
checkLoadedChunk(Lcom/sk891/worldedit/Vector;)V
I get the same problem if I use anything higher then 4.6
I just wish I knew why 4.7 and 4.8 won't work in single player mode. but on bukkit it works like a dream.
Can anyone help??

help?
Just rename the file name it to worldedit.jar and drop it in you /bin folder! finally copy and paste that work right!
