Some kind of searching/sorting/favoriting definitely planned, possibly not in the very next version. RedPower has been asked for a lot so I'll be adding some more stuff to handle large amounts of items. Still working on GUI stuff. Things have been slow for the holidays but will pick up a bit. Pretty much set on a tabbed interface I've been thinking of for a while.
Also listening to feedback on XP/enchanting and SMP support for more of the commands (rain etc). I want to do a cool enchanting interface that will allow more control than just giving XP.
Most other things that completely don't involve the inventory are probably not going in. At least the next Minecraft version is going to have mob-spawning items so that takes care of that.
Does this conflict with any other mods, like can you specify?
This mod is compatible with most mods, but I would recommend using a testing world to test any other mods you want to install with this to make sure things don't mess up.
I'm going to be redoing the SMP command system a bit soon since the config file has been a bit hard to understand (understandably...)
Meanwhile, you need to edit TooManyItems.txt and set give-command to /give {0} {1} {2} {3} for vanilla or /item {1}:{3} {2} for Bukkit Essentials plugin.
Ok I have had this mod for awhile now and I decided to update my minecraft to get rid of a different mod but when I reinstalled too many items and went on a server I keep getting a message saying "the specified enchantment cannot be applied to this itemstack". I have never had this issue before and I am wondering what caused and how I can fix it.
"Attention, test prisoners attempting to escape through the air ducts. I don't know what nonsense you learned on TV, but in real life, air ducts just go to the air conditioning unit. It's also pretty dusty, so if you've got asthma, chances are you're gonna die up there. And we'll be smelling it for weeks because, again, the air ducts aren't a secret escape hatch, they're how we ventilate the facility." - Cave Johnson

Too Many Items sucks now that the creator banned NEI. You should really look at his code and add some over his tweaks into TMI. TMI is so lackluster now that something better has been released.
Ok I downloaded it and now I have a zip named TooManyItems on my desktop.
What do I do next?
This is my first mod im downloading..
all you do is open it with winrar or 7zip and open your minecraft .jar file with winrar or 7ip, hilight all the files in tmi mod and drag and drop into your minecraft .jar file...
and then delete the META-INF file in your minecraft .jar close all tabs, run minecraft, an enjoy the TMI mod :laugh.gif:
most mods work like this but not all
P.S. dont do this----> + and with this mod you can have millions of s
There's only 1 page of items for me, and enchanted armor doesn't show up... Help? How can I get enchanted armor to show up?
Enchanted items don't actually show up in TMI. What the title means by "saves enchantments" is that when you have enchanted items already in your inventory and you save your inventory then they are saved in that inventory save.
I had to delete mine for the technic pack 1.0.0 although when i added the technic pack it said to have re-added the .minecraft folder but i cant find it?
so would it work or would i have to have a minecraft.jar to put it in?
:mellow.gif:
Also I just found my .minecraft folder... i also found the meta_inf folder and deleted it and then put the needed things in for tmi, I started minecraft and it re-loaded packages and done the 1.0.0 update (again!?!?!?) It wiped all my minecraft folders and the servers that I saved and also I can't get my laptop to make backup's, it also stopped the technic pack from working yet it is still there and also tmi doesnt work... :sad.gif:
PLEASE HELP :ohmy.gif: :blink.gif:
IF you don't have a .minecraft folder you can't run minecraft because all the files for minecraft is in that folder. And if you start minecraft all the files will be downloaded if you haven't got them so.
Wow. Just saw a Mod Spotlight of NEI and it makes me feel that I wanna use NEI forever instead of TMI. Now, I understand that NEI is removed becuase it was likea ripoff TMI? Or am I wrong?
I would love you if you implented the stuff that NEI got into TMI. NEI seem to have alot of neat functionalities.

Is it even installed? Try open the inventory and press O, that shows/hides TMI.
No.

I think the mod is not loading, because it isn't showing nothing at ModLoader.txt. Why so?
